I've used this hotel several times for two night stays on business with clients.
Check-in and check-out can be slow even when they are not busy.
Rooms are of a good standard and the bathrooms are very good. Very well cleaned and maintained with very comfortable beds and quiet.
Breakfast buffet is very good and the staff are very helpful while being unobtrusive.
The bar is comfortable, but the bar area food choice is very limited and the quality poor to average. I've never eaten the restaurant downstairs as it has tended to be closed when I've been at the hotel. Given the standard of food in the bar area I would not be prepared to risk the restaurant for a meal with clients.
Luckily there are several good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

The stay was great with reference to the food and staff. I'd recommend the following to increase your rating to excellent...The Hotel management should strongly consider adding additional English TV stations such as a movie channel and ESPN. When I wanted to relax in front of television the only channels I could find in English were NEWS stations. Also the pillows are very small compared to other Hotels, I'd suggest replacing your pillows with larger ones providing more comfort.

The receptionist on check-in was friendly, efficient, well informed and knowledgeable - being able to point me in the right direction for wherever I needed to go. The hotels location just 200 meters from the old town means easy access to the heart of Bydgoszcz and its best historical sights.
My room was spotless, modern and contemporary with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Flatscreen TV, big relaxing bed, bright clean bathroom, classic furnishing and decoration giving a boutique hotel effect. Best of all, the balcony was spacious and overlooked the river. There are similarities with Amsterdam.. but without the background hum of traffic!
The Bar was warm, welcoming and comfortable with a very professional well groomed barman on duty who served promptly and kept a watchful eye on everything while anticipating the customer’s needs.
The restaurant downstairs was plush with good staff and excellent cuisine. Prices were reasonable for such high standards.
The Gym is compact but has all you need for a good workout with a good hot sauna and practical shower and locker areas.
A welcome addition to the Hotel scene in Bydgoszcz.
