Views and room comfort were excellent. Had the privilage to attend the Tuesday night get together with Holiday Inn staff for a drink and nibblies this was very relaxing and was able to meet other guests .

Stayed one night between flights.
Staff were so friendly, went out of their way to help in everywhere.
Internet was poor. Slow and expensive.

My husband and I arrived early morning in Cairns and the reception checked us in immediately with a smile. Our room was spacious with balcony facing the ocean and the bed was really comfortable. All staffs we met were very friendly and helpful, specially the nice lady that helped us arrange a trip to the reefs on the best day with perfect weather for diving. The breakfast was really good and we got a discounted rate. Hotel location is near the lagoon and a short walk to several good restaurants. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. I definitely will recommend this hotel and will stay here again for our next holiday in Cairns.

Excellent accommodation in a great location on the Esplanade. Close to town centre, restaurants and night markets, we staying in a ocean view and we had great veiws, very clean. Bathroom was small. Iron, ironing board and haridryer in the room and serviced daily. Staff were very attentive, polite and helpful - would definately stay there again.

We stay at the Holiday Inn almost every time we comes to Cairns. Because we catch the charter flight to Papua from there, we are in and out of Cairns frequently.
This time our stay was not good. The room itself (419) was just plain dirty. The carpet had two huge stains on it where someone had spilled something. (I took photos if you want to see them.) The sliding door had hand and forehead prints all over it. The headboards had grease marks from the last guest(s?) resting their heads against it. Ick! The maid never vacuumed the room during the 4 day stay. She had problems remembering to; replenish the towels, the glasses, the milk, empty the ashtray on the balcony. There were marks on the bathroom door from past guests. The whole atmosphere of the room was DIRTY. Leaving me to feel very uncomfortable.
I admit I didn't talk to the manager as my husband didn't want to, and the hotel seemed very full, so the chance of another room being available seemed slim. I basically was just very disappointed overall this time. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Nice room overlooking the Cairns foreshore & RSL club. staff are friendly & restaurant is good. Would recommend to anyone on holiday or business.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn for 7days it was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful we were booked in at short notice as I was not happy with the place I had booked, The room was clean and tidy
The resetuart and bar was also very nice with lovely and friendly service I would definate recommend it and I would also stay there again.

We spent 6 nights at Holiday Inn Cairns after traveling around Australia. We liked the room which was well equipped and spacious. There was a good laundry to sort out washing, and lying by the pool was very relaxing. The staff were very helpful. We spent some time talking to the man who feeds the Baramundi. He was very interesting and enjoyed his job. W
Old definitely return for a short break.

My family and I booked in for Christmas Eve, staff was
very cheeriful at reception in Christmas gear. Our room had the best view and very spacious. The kids were in the adjoining room which is great close but not too close.

Had a few days in Cairns for a snorkel tour with my daughter.
Holiday Inn Cairns was once again a fantastic place to camp out.
Great room, friendly people and a nice pool.
The seafood buffet is back for the summer on Friday and Saturday Nights. It's position is at the northern end of the Esplanade Resteraunt strip with a short walk to most things , including the Marina.
We will be back.

This is the second time we have been to the Holiday Inn Cairns, the staff are great, service excellent, beds comfortable rooms very clean, wonderful view, the only low point was the food sreves very small and not very nice, overall a great weekend I would recommend Holiday Inn would stay there again but would eat out.

The location is excellent, right on the esplanade, everything is easily accessible. The hotel is beautiful including the grounds, the room, and I really enjoyed my balcony view of the ocean.

Our family just loved our stay at Cairns Holiday Inn. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Very nice room with great view. Perfect location on the Esplanade, close to the playgrounds and coffee shops. Loved our breakfast and staff went beyond their duties and happy to talk and had in interesting knowledge of the Cairns area. The family loved the pool, gym and atrium area. Lots for children to do.

We were very pleased to be given a room with a balcony at the front of the hotel which gave us great views of the Cairns waterfront. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and efficient. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cairns.

Great customer service with an excellent & professional attitude from all the staff.
Our room was ready 2 hours early upon arrival and was also offered an upgrade.
An all round great & relaxing short stay.

What a fantastic place. We only stayed one night on our return from one of the islands but were immediately taken by the accommodation. Excellent in all areas. Will definitely choose here next time we come to Cairns

Perfect hotel if you're not looking for a fancy stay - comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and good location to the strip on the esplanade. Staff was super helpful in booking our tours in Cairns. Breakfast buffet was also a nice addition - has everything you need.
