Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One night stay in Calais We always stay in the Holiday Inn Calais near the harbour because it offers secure car parking and is within walking distance of some good restaurants. We have breakfast in the hotel which has improved of late but they still insist on only providing side plates for the hot choice! The management must have changed because they are at least laying the tables rather than relying on the guests seeking out the cutlery. We will return again in the atumn for our next shopping trip. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another good experiance I've stayed here many times and the staff response on check in is always friendly and cheerful, I prefer to eat out as the menu is always the same, it could do with a change but the food is good, Rooms clean and tidy with everything you need. A happy two hours at the bar is a bonus buy one get one free. Highly recommended for business and leisure. May 17, 2016

If Holiday Inn staff in the US, the UK or anywhere in the world are friendlier than the staff in this hotel in Calais, I'd be very surprised. They were flexible and helpful from the moment I arrived after a long drive at 04:00 to the moment I departed, hours after official checkout time. I remember thinking, "If this is what Holiday Inns are now like, I must stay with Holiday Inn again." Superb customer service. I particularly remember Pierre at check-in, but he was not alone -- all the staff were like this. It was lovely to have a proper bathroom, too. May 3, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Seaport Hotel Loved this hotel in the past, Calais was nice to visit for business and leisure. Now, happy hour in the hotel is the best thing for the stay. Poor internet, rooms not been updated since my last visit, over 10 years ago. Hotel staff, do make you feel welcome. Sorry but I would not stop here again for business or with my family. What we would like is more often a new menu. The menu seems not to change for months and months whereas there is a new wine (white as well as red) every month. April 4, 2016
