Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Nice Hotel but Expensive Seems like Holiday Inn has upped their game but the price for this location is very high. Location is in a very busy traffic area and urban (convenience of a pawn shop across the street). I wouldn't walk around the area at night except to grab the train and vagrants hang out behind the dumpsters. July 8, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location We booked this hotel for it's convenient location close to the Saddledome. It's an easy walk to the C-Train station and a very short ride from there. We were greeted at reception in a manner that made me feel at home. We were given excellent directions to the C-Train station and a few other pieces of advice to make that trip easier. The check-in procedure was very conversational and friendly. This property is probably due for an update, but it's very clean and comfortable the way it is. I don't know why but the typically excellent Holiday Inn/Express shower head was even better at this location. I could be water pressure, but it was great. I will certainly book this hotel again for future events on the exhibition grounds. June 30, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service! Staff very helpful and friendly. The room was quite small and was disappointed to find double beds instead of queen. Air Conditioning did not work but the staff provided us with a fan which helped a lot. Overall, average hotel, a little steep on the price for the size of the room. I would stay again but make sure I had a king or queen bed. June 30, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Toller Service, gute Lage! Das Personal ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend. Die Bar lädt abends zu einem letzten Trink ein. Die Lage zur Chinook Mall und zum Zentrum ist gut. Strassenbahnanschluss direkt hinter dem Hotel. Leider ist kein Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer. Sonst ist alles bestens! June 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Pfffft Stay! Stay here often. This stay due to hotel capacity I was sentenced to a rooom on the second floor across from the board rooms. Noisy at night (clean up, vaccuming and carpentry). Heat system is still a problem but at least now its not needed daily. Four nights of lousy sleep. Not many times I say I should have stayed other than here but this was one of those stays. June 23, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dont stay in winter or spring as this place still has the worst heating/AC system of any hotel in Calgary Great people and location - C-Train 39 th Ave. This hotel has had a problem with the NEW System now for two years and has gotten to the point of an extra heater in the room as when it is cold it is chilly in the room. It got so bad that this being my preferred hotel I went elsewhere as the room was just too cool at night to be comfortable in! June 23, 2014

Everyone from the front desk, restaurant, cleaning crew and management have treated me as a valuable guest. With the amount of travel I do, it is rtefreshing that they know your name when you are there and are incredibly friendly. To all of you there at the hotel, thank you very much. See you all soon.
