Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Acceptable hotel but rates can be high Everything is acceptable about this hotel. The staff and service are good and the gym/pool facilities are good. The rooms and corridors need modernising but are clean and comfortable. Restaurant food is good quality but I'd like to see the menu change more often and the decor and lighting could be more comfortable. July 23, 2015

The main reason for the stay was the all inclusive use of the fitness centre and pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi very posh feel and well presented look to the hotel inside and out. second time of visiting and i would stay again. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Helpful staff There was a small mix up about the configuration of the beds in the two rooms that we booked. This was resolved very quickly by the staff. We ended up with two family rooms which were massive and much appreciated. The hotel is quite a long way from the city center. July 21, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable overly priced and under staffed I booked the room via the IHG telephone service, with no difficulties. I was traveling with my elderly Father at 87 and my wife, so we requested a single room with an additional day bed. On checking in to the room we noticed 3 beds, which was a miss understanding and was quickly resolved.The reason I only booked one room was the price. The room was one of the back rooms and took some time to get to. It was also on the upper floor. The hotel has no goods lift to move luggage so the staff helped us. Breakfast was promised at a reduced rate after spinning the IHG rewards wheel at the front desk. But on inspection of the bill the next day it was over charged. The lady explained it was an error and that the breakfasts were all ready discounted, and the couldn't be discounted twice. So she said I would be given the extras as points. The breakfast was good. They seemed understaffed and Hotel management were helping to clear tables etc. Getting a cup of tea took some time. News paper was promised and selected but didn't arrive both mornings July 12, 2015
