Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not impressed You have to pay to park your car, and not even a discount if you a paying guest at the hotel, and they don't even guarantee you will get a car park space! Wi fi was expensive, and so ridiculous that they charge for it. No chest of drawers in the bedroom, so nowhere to put underwear etc No extractor fan in the bathroom, so you have to prop the door open, otherwise really hot and steamed up. Air con didn't work and we had to have the room keys re-activated 3 times!!! Never again for us... July 16, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cardiff one nigh stop Excellent location and staff, but don't understand why there is a charge for parking as a guest? Luckily as a platinum member it is free parking. Hotel in need of a bit of an upgrade, room clean and comfortable but looking a bit dated, TV should be bigger and come with all the freeview channels. The worst thing for me was the smokers who stand around or sit at the tables outside the main entrance, this means you have to walk through their exhaled smoke to get into the hotel. This is unacceptable and a smoking area away from the entrance should be found. July 12, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Tired and in need of upgrading Not the best place to stay for business. I stayed over two nights and there was a high number of coach parties - noisy and demanding of the staff. The room looked tired and the decor dated. The bathroom was down trodden, towels washed out and hot water not hot! The large windows do not afford privacy from the other windows of rooms - Net curtains would be a good addition - I was able to look directly into other rooms from my window and I realised I could see what occupants were doing. THe restaurant was understaffed, with not enough staff to deal with guests. Breakfast was slow as a result. Having said that, staff were helpful and friendly. Internet access was not high speed, as purported to be and the signal was patchy. July 1, 2014
