Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Better than expected Based on reviews prior to our stay, I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The breakfast was NOT good, but the room was comfortable. We had our choice of double on first floor, or king room on second floor, and the king room was MUCH nicer. The room on the first floor looked older and had not been updated. Luckily we asked to see both rooms before check-in and was able to select the nicer room. October 14, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room for upgrade The hotel employees were friendly. The hotel is a good hotel. Its just an older hotel, my guess its a conversion from a different brand. It needs updating. For a Holiday Inn I felt it in poor taste for the microwave to be sitting on the mini frig. Most Holiday Inns have a shelving type system. The coffee pot had to share space with the TV on the dresser and I thought that was in poor taste and could have been in a unit along with the microwave and frig. There wasn't many decent channels to choose from on the TV. There was no channel guide in the room so you couldn't figure out what station to look for. The sink area which is outside the shower/toilet area is very small, very little counter space around the sink to put any of your toiletries. The guest room could use renovation upgrades. The mattress was not comfortable and the beds were small, more like a full size bed and not a queen size bed. September 18, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bring back the breakfast This was our 3rd time staying at this hotel and will not be back. New owners have removed the hot breakfast and replaced with a very unsatisfactory selection. This why we choose this hotel in the first place and continued to return. I think a lot of others think the same as always in the past, it was full and this time on a Holiday friday night, I would estimate less than 20 people stayed there. September 2, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Owners changed,along food&service After staying at this hotel maybe over 100 times, we were always understanding when they made a mistake or gave less service. Why because they had the best breakfast anywhere included in the price. We are seniors and on a close budjet,so the food was a bonus for us. They desided to change to a very low standard put a few items on the counter ,no fruit mini bagals a 2 at best on a scale of all the other holiday inns we stayed at. I complained ,the anwser from girl at desk was we have new owners and the country they are from is not big on American ideas ,particularly breakfast. ( her words they don't eat it we don,t need it . After almost 20 years maybe it's time to move on. No breakfast at all is better than what we got and couldn,t eat. September 1, 2014
