Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good hotel except for noise inside This is a nice hotel, clean and friendly. I liked that the window opened up. There was a problem with it being very noisy inside the hotel, both the hallways and rooms. The doors slam very loudly and people were inconsiderate coming and going at late hours during week nights we stayed. There was also a problem with being given a room directly across from elevator on 3rd floor when I requested way ahead of time a quiet room on highest floor! I had to go back to the desk to complain the room location was unacceptable and was given a suite on the top floor which was a little bigger. Another complaint was the housekeeper knocked on our door at 9am about cleaning the room!! Checkout is noon so that is completely unacceptable to disturb our sleep so early. Then the maids were very noisy and inconsiderate cleaning and banging things around loudly in both of the rooms on either side of ours at 9am! Never had that happen in all the hotel stays I've had. I would stay there again but would hope these things would not happen again. There should be a breakfast included. October 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bed was nice and soft, room clean and spacious, great. We were very tired when we arrived, and it was delightful to be greeted with excitement, and happiness, by the staff. We got hugs, and a special bag with treats in it, to boot. Service was great in every area. Best of all, when we were in our room we couldn't hear footsteps overhead, or others talking through the walls, and it was so very peaceful and stress free. Of course we will come back to this same hotel, on our next trip to Raleigh. Thanks for taking such good care of us. October 10, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No Problems at all!! Upon entering the hotel we were greeted like family. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and roomy. Shower was nice, but the bathroom does need a tiny bit of repair at the baseboard tile, but no big deal. Quite a variety offered at the buffet, just cooled off pretty quick. Overall we would definitely stay there again! October 9, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place for a pool/hot tube dip and a conference While the conference I was attending was in the area, I stayed at the Holiday Inn hotel in Cary, NC. It was a nice room, comfortable bed with nice fluffy pillows. I enjoyed a quick dip in the pool and the hot tube. I slept comfortably in a comfortably air conditioned room watching a flat screen tv. My only concern: The toilet in my wanted to run a bit beyond the normal amount, but did fix itself in time Liked the fact that there was a bar/lounge area in the hotel. If I had gotten back in time, I would definitely have partaken of this feature (will make a point to do so during future stays) Overall, friendly staff, nice accommodations, and hope to stay in the future.
