Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rockerville Beautiful Hotel, Attentive Staff and Convenient Location
The hotel is situated just off the busy King Street Entertainment District. It's just a short a walk down to several restaurants if you don't want to eat at the beautiful restaurant at the hotel. Parking is Valet Only, but it's a very easy process with very attentive staff to assist with parking and loading/unloading.
The Rooms are spacious and well appointed. I had a room overlooking Meeting Street, but there was no street noise from traffic through the large windows.
When I return to Charleston, I will most likely select this hotel again because it's in a convenient location, has comfortable rooms and dedicated staff.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by cdgolfs Really great.......with one exception
Stayed here for four nights as part of a large wedding party in December. Valet staff and young lady at desk (she was there every day we were) were excellent. Rooms were nice although the door designs (bathroom, closet and entry) were poor and you couldn't really open more than one without banging into others. Rooms were average size but nice.
A bit noisy in terms of hearing adjacent rooms. Room above us had kids there and you could hear them running around room, especially in early morning.
Bad experience with dry cleaning though and would not recommend use of hotel arranged services for that. Called to manager's attention but no suitable resolution offered. Disappointing.
Otherwise, nice hotel for the money.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Former Naval Person Another great stay at Holiday Inn!
I visited Charleston over the weekend with my wife and found the hotel very much to our liking: very clean, secure and supported by an excellent staff. Of particular note were Tammy, Jessica and Ben (at the front desk) along with Patrick and D'rone (in the dining room). Thank you all very much and best wishes for your continued success.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by chef-ee Good Choice in Historic Area
Although not in the prettiest section of Charleston, King Street is just a short walk away. Comfortable rooms and a very friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast buffet included in the room rate was a notch above most. A very good value especially during busy times in Charleston when other properties jack up their rates to ridiculous heights.

Spent several nights here during Thanksgiving week, exploring Charleston with my family. Great location walked to the historic district, trolley was available but weather was too nice not to walk. Staff was great from the time we arrived until we checked out. Rooms were fantastic, clean and comfortable. Desk staff made several restaurant suggestions and all were perfect. Will be back, but will stay longer

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by traveling gran first time in Charleston
We picked this hotel because we are IHG members and wanted the points. It is at the end of the Trolley line, but the walk was easy even to walk all the way downtown to the Market. The restaurants on King St. are close. The hotel itself is new and clean. The valet parking costs each day, but it was easy in and out. The neighborhood itself is in the process of reclamation, but that posed no problem. If you are looking for Charleston old-time flavor this hotel will not provide it, being new architectural style and far from the older building. Great value, however.

I requested on checkout that my car be brought round and assistance with baggage. I waited about 20 minutes and had to place another call to the front desk. The young man who responded said the car had been at the curb for about 20 min but no one told him that assistance was requested with baggage.
