I booked this hotel through Hotwire. I figured the location would be ok, but it was horrible getting in and out of the hotel. The traffic comes screaming up in both directions and it's downright scary. That is coming from someone who is a seasoned driver.
When I tried to check in at 345, just fifteen minutes early, they informed me that there was no room ready. Meanwhile, others are coming in with all their luggage and going upstairs. It was completely obvious there were rooms available and ready. It was well after four that I got a room, because their computer system was messed up and they were having all sorts of problems. I finally get a room, with no apology, and go upstairs after a long drive from Florida. Ten minutes later there is a couple trying to enter my room. Turns out they were assigned the same room. Seriously? The whole stay was not enjoyable.
The pool is on the third floor, right next to the highway and all you hear are cars zooming by. The one good thing was the gym, the treadmill was great for a run. All in all, I would not recommend this hotel, unfortunately.

This hotel needs much renovation. While the views are spectacular, especially from the roof top restaurant and lounge, we found everything else less appealing. The food at the breakfast buffet was poor in quality and representation. Eggs were cold, oatmeal was not warm enough to melt the brown sugar, fruit was partially peeled, and meat was almost burned. As for our room, it was clean but the towels were old and paper thin. Balcony was closed for our safety!! I must say the staff at the front desk were very helpful and pleasant. This place needs to be restored to the grand place it once was.
