Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Above and Beyond for Kids! I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Charleston, WV last week. Service was great, but what stood out most was the Front Desk Team. There was a little girl staying with her parents long term at the hotel while her family is moving over the holidays. Apparently, in their packing, the family forgot to bring their Elf on the Shelf with them. When the Front Desk learned what happened from her mother, Kim at the desk brought in her own Elf. They move the little Elf around so this one little girl can enjoy her Christmas and feel a sense of normalcy as her family transitions from another State. Incredible service that was above and beyond!!! Very impressed and touched by how caring this staff was for that family!!! Would definitely recommend them!!! December 14, 2014

The staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the beds and pillows allow for a restful sleep. It is also close to good local restaurants and small shops. It is within a few minutes drive of the state capitol and downtown Charleston. I am never disappointed in my stay at this Holiday Inn. December 7, 2014
