We have stayed at this hotel previously and again booked this location for a business trip. However, the new heating system was awful. It's fine to economize, but the system kept shutting off and our rooms were too cold during the day and at night. The service in the restaurant was abysmal. Be prepared to wait more than 30 minutes for a waitress only to be told they are out of basic menu items. Also, housekeeping starts at 8 a.m., so be sure to put a do-no-disturb sign out if you are trying to sleep after a sleepless night of shivering in the cold. We will look elsewhere for our next business trip. It's a shame. This was our fourth consecutive year here. The wireless service still is great, though. The manager didn't promptly return a call. I had to ask for her at checkout. Then, no offer to fix it was made if I wasn't a rewards card member. Something should have been done to fix this. I got an email later, but it was too little too late.

I traveled with my daughter and granddaughters. I was struck by the cleanliness of the entire facility. The staff remembered my daughter (or at least passed it off well as if he did) from a stay nearly two years ago.
One particular staff, Billy, took time out to teach my granddaughter how to get the parrot to speak to her. The atmosphere was friendly and light. The salt water pool was glorious!
Jeff at the front desk went above and beyond. He was very personable.
Your business station with computer and printer was a godsend for me.
I was quite impressed with the hotel. It was my first stay but will be my first choice when returning to Charleston.

My stay was very relaxing with the beds being so comfortable I wanted to take one home with me! We arrived late and It was a holiday. The front desk staff were very accommodating and spot on with their restaurant recommendations. The interior of the lobby is very eye appealing and soothing to the soul after a long 8 hr drive. The indoor pool is beautiful, so bring your suit. If I ever travel that way again, I will make sure I return to this hotel. It was so nice.
