A disappointing stay, room was dirty. Floors not cleaned daily. Bathroom sink not cleaned, soap scum around the rim of the sink.

Hotel was centrally located and convenient to major roads and facilities including restaurants, gas stations etc. A good value for both business and leisure travelers.

Seriously some of the friendliest hotel personnel I have ever met. The hotel and the room were clean and comfortable. The location is great. Traffic is not as heavy here as in some other areas and there are shopping centers and restaurants nearby. We are definitely staying here for every trip we take to Charlotte.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for the race weekend its really close to the track about 10 minutes. Straight shot to the track and quiet area. Got to the room around 0300 so didn't really get to check all the other amenities, but the wife said it was okay. The beds were super hard/firm, but still managed to get a good nights rest for a few hours before leaving. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to the races or just looking for anything close to the university.

My stay at this Holiday Inn was great--it became a home away from home as we stayed 3 nights. The hotel was convenient to our event location and very convenient to major restaurants and stores. The Staff were very pleasant, accommodating, and helpful.

Overall, a very nice hotel and how they did with renovating the rooms and lobby area from its previous state. For the price, not bad, and comparable to like hotels. As a Platinum Priority Club Member though, I would expect to get the breakfast on the weekends in the buffet area for free and not have to pay, since it is really just a continental breakfast set up. Also, be careful when taking a shower for the soap dish near the corner of the shower head wall. It is about 4ft high and if you're reaching for stuff in the corner of the tub, you might just hit your head on it, a couple times maybe. Not a well designed placement of a soap dish.

My wife, Mom, and I stayed here after the Carolina Rebellion concert on Saturday, instead of driving to our house in Stanley, and then having to drive back the next morning. The staff were extremely nice, and made checking in very quick. They even upgraded me to the business suite, that comes with some upgrades such as upgraded toiletries, and complementary waters in the fridge. I know it is just water and extra Q-Tips, but it is the attention to the small things that make them stand out, and my wife needed the water since she was thirsty from the walk out of the concert. The stay was nice, and we didn't have any issues, like we did last year when we stayed at the Candlewood Suites down the road. There were some people in the hall making a bit of noise, but that was understandable since most of the people there were from the concert, and they didn't stay loud for long. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay, and we plan on staying here again next year for the concert, and possibly ever year after that.
