Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Staff Need Training I requested two wake up calls on 2 consecutive evenings for the following morning. I did not receive a single wake up call. Beds are uncomfortable, pillows are lumpy, bed covers are cheap and blankets have a plastic cover on them. There are many choices for hotels in the Charlottesville area - go elsewhere... Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good experience overall, but service needs improvement. I am an IHG Platinum member, but did not receive the treatment I should have at all. The hotel did not have the type of room I reserved, and did not notify me in advance. They also did not offer to upgrade me to any other rooms. As a make-up, they offered free breakfast for one morning. The room was much better than the service, and we had a pleasant experience in the guest room overall. April 6, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed with staff willing to resolve issues Hotel was noisy and under construction, room was not completed. Staff was not willing to change rooms and when asked what happen to breakfast it felt like we were trying to get a hand out. This was our 11th anniversary get away. Not a mini hassle vacation. I would not recommend this hotel at this time. If you do go here make sure you ask for everything that is promised up front, keep the paperwork that you downloaded form the booking page. If you have the attitude like we did to make the stay positive, "It is only two days" then you will be ok with a place to sleep. Holiday Inns in our past stays have been positive. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Time I have been staying at this hotel 2-3 times a year for at least 20 years. The breakfast is good and plentiful. The Bar/Lounge is friendly and welcoming. It has a multitude of TV's and the staff is very professional and friendly. March 27, 2016
