Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very welcoming, clean and comfortable The staff was over the top accommodating.. we had a wedding party staying here for the Trump Vineyards ---- they were so friendly and helpful when we asked for suggestions for places to eat and things to see while we were there.... the man at the front desk even told us to stay clear of Rt 29 because of the UV game and traffic. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good location, great room Large comfortable room. The hotel was in an excellent location near to Downton Charlottesville and the Monticello mansion. However, the food for dinner was average and the decor throughout the hotel dated. On the plus side, the staff were very friendly, the room was clean and the beds very comfortable. September 17, 2014

Brooke handled our room block and could not make the process any easier. She was responsive and accommodating prior to the event as well as during. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Needs Updating and a good cleaning This property is not up to par with the Holiday Inn experience. The bathroom was dirty, the carpets need replacing, the TV is old. The place is generally very outdated. The staff do the best they can with what they have, but the bathrooms need a good cleaning. The pool is very nice. It is a good location, but there are other Holiday Inns in Charlottesville that I would try, rather than stay at this one. September 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service uncomfortable bed. The staff and their service was very good. The bed was most uncomfortable. The food was alright. While the room and bath were both clean, they were old. I was really happy that the room did not have a cigarette odor as so many places do even though they are supposed to be a non-smoking establishment. September 12, 2014
