Really nice guy on the front desk, Mike - usually you don't get great front desk service these days but he was nice. The lobby is about to be refurbished but I thought it was fine, and they had some nice cold water to serve yourself. Room was very nice - recently refurbished, bathroom and shower were excellent, bed was so-so. I didn't sleep that well on it. Rooms were quiet even though the hotel was full and near the freeway. I'd definitely stay there again. My boyfriend said the coffee in the room was excellent. I would stay there every time I go to Charlottesville if they would just upgrade the beds. Fantastic location near I-64 and close to downtown. July 30, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beds This was our 2nd time staying here and thinking all beds were alike. Wrong! Our first trip in June we slept so well and when we left to go to UVA for my Pain Management appointment my pain level was only about a 5-6, which for me is good. On our second trip last week we had requested same king bed style room and the bed was so hard that by morning my back and leg pain was horrible and even my husband said he hadn't gotten much sleep and his back was hurting and stiff too. Why was there such a major difference in the 2 king size beds?? If there is a choice for a firm bed or soft bed it should be available on the Internet to choose. Just from that one night I had to take more pain medication just to get through my pain management visit and the 2 & 1/2 hour drive back home which is always difficult for me but this time it was miserable. There was not a recognition that I was a Priority Club member, even though I booked the reservation through my membership. No complaints about the room--very clean. July 22, 2015

The staff always asking if they was anything we needed and when asked about area attractions they had all the answers plus some great ideas. Even tho we were here for a doctors office visit we made some time for ourselves. July 20, 2015
