Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Orville Raulston is the best!
We were in a dilemma since our room was unaccommodating and was not what we had ordered through an online third-party vendor. Also, there were no available rooms there or elsewhere in the vicinity. The front desk personnel was just changing shifts and did not care that we had no place to stay since we did not book the rooms directly from them or online through Holiday Inn. We sat in the lobby for over an hour trying to find comparable accommodations within a 20-mile radius using cellphones and internet.
It was after midnight that Raulston, the new shift front-desk personnel, noticed our plight and realized that he had an available room that he would be able to allow us to have for only one night. After a long and tiring day, he was a God-send. He had the kindest and sweetest disposition and helped us in every way that was humanly possible. The accommodations were excellent and he changed my mind and gave me a different perspective on Holiday Inn.

In town on business, perfect place to stay, eat, and drink. I loved that they had a few local beers on tap....but the wine selection was weak, Barefoot only. Drink prices more than fair.
On my favorites list!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by AUgirl New with glitches, overpriced
This is a very new hotel, so it was clean and comfortable. However, there were no fold out suitcase caddies. We had to open up our suitcases on the floor. Also, there were no shelves or ledges inside the shower where you can place shampoo, razors, soap, etc. While standing in our bathroom, I could very clearly hear people talking - the sound must have come through the vent. It was kind of weird. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and it is clean and new. However, because of the inconveniences plus the fact that no breakfast included - which we didn't know until we checked in - I believe the hotel is overpriced. At check-in, I was asked to initial a paper indicating there is no breakfast. I wouldn't have booked the hotel in advance if I had known that.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by RayA61 Room Confirmation in hand but Not available
The hotel appearance is very nice. When we arrived at the hotel early we were told our room wasn't ready yet, that we needed to come back around 4. We arrived back around 4:30 to check in. I was not recognized as a Priority Club member as i normally am when checking in to Holiday Inns. We were given a room with two queen beds. When we got to the room we knew this wasn't what we had confirmed. We had reserved an Exec Suite with a king and queen bed. When I called the front desk from the room I was told by the evening manager on duty that room "upgrade" was not available. We weren't asking for an upgrade. We had a confirmation of that room type. That manager did not show any concern or make any effort to remedy the situation with offering another room until my wife went down to the front desk to talk with him in person. I asked about the cost of the room he assigned us and he said I would have to take that up with Priority Club. He kept talking about he had nothing to do with our reservation and it was just a request for that type of room. He said your hotels overbook like airlines all the time so the room requested may not be available even with a confirmation. At least when airlines overbook they give something to passengers giving up their seats. He told my wife we need to insure our Priority Club status is correct because it is listed as Gold and Platinum status has priority for reservations. Our level is Gold and was reflected correctly. We weren't pretending to be at the Platinum level. He made it sound like we needed to be Platinum to get the room we had confirmed. After my wife talked with him for a while he did finally look for another room to offer to us with more room but still not the one we had a confirmation for. By then we were very tired and frustrated with the treatment we received and the situation and did not move. He would not have made any effort at all had my wife not gone to the front dest. I got the impression that if i had been paying full price for the room I had confirmed and not using points plus money it would have been handled differently. Holiday Inn is our preferred hotel brand when we travel and we are normally treated with respect as a Priority Club member. After this experience we are questioning our commitment to your brand for future travel.

The reception desk was professional and friendly and we were checked in quickly after a long day of travel. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom was exceptionally large and clean! There was a microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot, all rather convenient when traveling...
Although we didn't take advantage of any of the area attractions, there were many restaurants and stores close by- less than a five minute drive.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by KYgirl23 disappointing service
The room was clean & the pool was nice. However, we stayed 3 nights & we happened to be in the room on the first day when the maid service knocked on our door & asked if we would like our room cleaned. We said yes & left for her to clean. The next day we did not receive maid service except someone came in to empty one trash can while we were out of the room. We were low on clean towels, toilet paper & completely out of tissues. We had to call the front desk to request these items. Someone delivered the items but brought less than what we requested. The only other complaint is that the Wifi was terrible in the bedrooms & by the pool. Extremely frustrating & an inconvenience especially for the amount we paid for the room.
