Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by good for quick rest airport to next destination I got in late in the evening around 11:30PM. Airport shuttle driver and front desk personnel very friendly and helpful. Room was fine for what I needed-someplace to stay til next destination. 3 complaints-no elevator, what is up w/that? lugging suitcases up fights of stairs is highly inconvenient , although the staff did offer to assist w/that, I guess I should have taken them up on it. I did not get to bed til after 1am and the maid was knocking at the door at 7:30AM, I told her I was checking out later that morning and she could come after that. About an hr later, there she is again wanting me to get out so she could clean the room, not nice. The sink in the bathroom was really slow to drain, disgusting. Hotel did provide breakfast bars and fruit as a courtesy in the lobby, nice touch. I would stay there again if I was only passing thru but not for an extended stay. August 3, 2013

The hotel is conveniently located to Airport and Walden Galleria Mall but not the best idea if you want to stay close to downtown. The best of this Holiday Inn is the friendly restaurant staff and specially the shuttle drivers. We met two of them and are polite, charm and people that enjoy his job. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by incredible afternoon happy hour We chose the Holiday Inn because the price was right and we needed a place by the airport. We were told about the happy hour when we checked in. It was a very hot day and the manager was out by the pool BBQ preparing chicken wings. What a great treat in Buffalo. They also had platters of fresh fruit and vegetables,cheese and crackers and lots of wine and beer..A big A+ for hospitality!! thanks! Jackie July 31, 2013

Everything was ready and waiting for our arrival. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to or through Buffalo. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hated this hotel I would not recommend this hotel and will likely NEVER stay at another Holiday Inn again because of my stay. The front desk staff were rude and sloppy. The beds were uncomfortable the rooms smell like cheep air freshner to cover up the smell of smoke and my room was never cleaned. To top it all off, the hotel charged my VISA twice for the stay. When I contacted the Holiday Inn head office to report my issues they were not interested. They advised that they would notify the hotel but never did. There are many very nice hotels near the airport, AVOID this hotel at all costs. You will regret staying here. July 9, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend stay Arrivd late as our fight cancelled, in town for family wedding. Beds super cmfortable. Friont desk staff extremely hlpful, cleaning crew also very friendly. Went out for breakfast and came ack to get ready and our room was clean. No towels but we already had showered. Five minutes later a maid brought us clean hot towels. July 5, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by NOT STANDARD FOR HOLIDAY INN Pros: Close to the Buffalo Airport Cons: Rooms are gloomy and drafty. Doorway, bathroom and counter space was very small. This is an older hotel and does not live up to my Holiday Inn expectation. I stay at Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express over 75 days out of the year but I will never return to this hotel. Very long walk from the room to the front desk. Recommendation: There is a Holiday Inn Express down the street right across from the airport that I would recommend you check out before deciding to stay at this one. June 29, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Room Recently remodeled, clean room. Service was excellent. Only bad mark: the doors seemed paper thin and we could hear everything in the hallway. This didn't prove to be an issue until we went to sleep. They should have replaced the doors with something that offered a little more sound insulation. June 24, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff My family and I stayed just one night to catch an early flight. The front desk staff and Lindsay at the restaurant were amazing. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had no problems parking our car for three days while we were away. Shuttle service to and from the airport was excellent. Free meals for children under twelve was a huge bonus as we had two little ones. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others. Cheers, David L. June 6, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff and Confernce Service We decided on Buffalo for an intermediary conference point and the HI Buffalo Airport was convenient and had what was needed for our group. The conference directors Katelyn and Kathy went out of their way to accomodate our needs and schedule changes, and the staff was great too. The overall package was reasonably priced and our guests all enjoyed the accomodations. The in hotel restaurant also surprised us and we had dinner there for our group for 2 back to back evening dinners. At the close of our meetings, it was unanimous that we would consider another meeting at this Holiday Inn. There were some renovations in process but they were very well controlled and in no way detracted from our visit. And it is noteworthy to add that the rooms were especially clean and comfortable with up to date quiet heating and Air Conditioning. May 22, 2013

New carpet, updated huge shower with a wonderful large shower head. Comfortable king size bed. We ate in the restaurant Max's and the food was great and so was the service and the price. Excellent value, will not hesitate to return or recommend this property. Right down the street from the airport although that is not what we girls on a shopping trip were looking for, but others would find that handy. I believe I saw a Holiday Inn Shuttle van at the front door so that is a good feature too if you are flying out and need transport to the airport. The property is only two stories high and I don't think they have an elevator so this is something to keep in mind if considering it. May 15, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by A horrible night part 2 Also wanted to add that in addition to not being recognized as a priority club member during check in I have discovered that I was not given any reward points and this stay was not listed as a qualifing stay.( I will add that the hotel did end up refunding us the cost of the stay) Due to our horrible experience I feel that I should have been credited with the reward points I should have earned for this stay and given some bonus points in addition. I was in room 125 and unless the hotel was fully booked the rooms near this one should not be used. April 15, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by A horrible night Problem # 1. This is a pet friendly hotel. We chose this hotel due to its close proximety to the Buffalo airport as we had a early flight (5:45am) the next morning and busy day ahead. After returning to the hotel from dinner we were greated by a obnoxiously loud barking dog from the room across the hall. A call to the front desk yeilded no empathy and no resolution. Problem # 2. We procede to prepare for the busy day ahead and get our showers before bed. My daughter was first to shower and the bath tub was not draining. Another call to the front desk again no empathy and "we'll send someone down with a plunger". Guy comes to the room after a little while with a plunger looks in the bathroom and says " oh it's the bath tub, I'll be right back with another plunger". Guy comes back and after trying to work the clog for a while says " there's a big clog of something nasty in there that I can't get out". Solution offered was to give access to another room to use the facilities and to gives free parking #we had the park stay and go rate#. We were given a room key to a room on the 2nd floor. So my wife and I had to traverse up to the 2nd floor with our bathrrom stuff to get our showers and then go back to our room on the 1st floor. Meanwhile problem #1 the dog is still barking. The dog was barking while the guy was trying to unclog our shower and continued to bark until well after midnight. Needless to say this was a horrible way to start our vacation. My suggestion to this hotel is 1. If you are going to allow pets then keep them isolated from those who don't. 2. Considering you have some newly remodeled rooms put people in those rooms first#especially priority club members#. It leaves people with a better impression of your hotel. 3. Your house keeping staff should be checking rooms better so that things like clogged drains are not discovered by guests. April 15, 2013

Because of the hotel & restaurant staff - that's why. Each year I stay here, I make new friends. Whether they work here or flying out of the Buffalo Airport. It is the hotel, the staff and ease of traveling in and out of town that always brings me back . April 10, 2013
