Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Shelter in a Storm Was what you would expect for a Holiday Inn, lived up to standards, although I prefer the simplicity of a Holiday Inn Express set up. There were some minor annoyances: some vending machines don't take bills just credit cards and are in in the hall where noise is a factor, need to run fan to cover noise from upstairs, no TV channel guide, loud trains, convoluted traffic patterns around hotel etc. but generally a comfortable place to spend a stormy day. Two lounge chairs a plus and a quite housekeeping staff. February 26, 2015

There are hardly any outlets in the room which makes charging electronics difficult. They didn't plow the parking lot or move the snow. February 25, 2015

We stayed with a pet and they made sure we were on a lower floor to make it easier for us to take the dog outside (but made sure to ask us if we wanted to be on a lower floor first). Our room was spacious -- king bed, couch, coffee table, desk, and a mini-fridge that was actually a good size. The bed and pillows were comfortable as well. February 25, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Good vs Excellent Despite my critique, I really enjoyed my recent stay at the Holiday Inn. The info is meant to be constructive and not negative. The staff was caring and gracious and seemed genuinely concerned about my stay. I do believe the lobby area of the Cherry Hill, NJ property is in need of a makeover. The rooms were excellent and provided for a very satisfying stay. However, the lobby was a bit disappointing when compared to the aesthetic effort that was put into the rooms. On another note, I'm sure it was an oversight, but I received a form letter under my door stating your records indicated that I "was not" an IH Rewards member and invited me to join. I thought maybe this had something to do with the absence of complimentary coffee and/or danish as a breakfast option. The front desk apologized about the letter and provided a plausible explanation for the limited amenities offered to IH Reward members at this location. In the end, my visit was good, but some of the things mentioned herein made me feel like I was a "regular" customer. This was the difference from being a very good stay instead of an excellent one.
