Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fits the bill I needed a hotel close to where I had business and this hotel fits the bill quite nicely. Friendly and efficient staff, in my experience, with a nice comfortable air and atmosphere throughout. The only negative point for me was the maze of corridors to get to the room and if you have room numbers in the 400 area it seems like an eternity to get to them but don't let that put you off, a bit of exercise never hurt anyone! Breakfast was of a good quality with extremely attentive staff catering for all your needs. May 20, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great for a stopover Very peaceful and quiet, room good value for money, reception staff very good, Bar staff too fussy, breakfast staff took 3 attempts to get drinks right, and I missed porridge for breakfast, and found some of the cooked breakfast dried up. In general felt the breakfast was not good value for money, compared to rival hotels we have stayed at. May 17, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Restaurant closed The hotel restaurant was closed so the bar area was busy during the evening meal time. Consequently, the staff were a little overwhelmed. The food was however fine. The next morning breakfast was served in the dining area and of the usual Holiday Inn standard.i.e.buffet style reasonable selection, some items not replenished, a little expensive and not exceptional. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great experience overall but not cheap! We had a great experience at the hotel despite an incident involving another guest which was completely out of their control. Staff behaved professionally and in a friendly manner throughout the visit. The outside appearance of the hotel was not at all appealing but the interior completely made up for it and looked great. The hotel was not cheap and we only paid that price because it was via a rewards scheme. The breakfast was also expensive despite being nothing special, Furthermore it took a long time to get seated and we were told to wait to be served coffee which would have take ages had we actually listened. I would have been much happier to have doe both things myself in order to access breakfast much more quickly. We also watched a film in the room which was difficult as it kept pausing as the connection caught up with itself. Again I would have expected better for the price. May 9, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Tired in need of refresh negative - Poor menu for Dinner, room not comfortable, toiletries not refreshed. Internet slow, no room safe, only one set of towels. Also overall hotel does not look inviting, appears tired on the outside. Positives - Breakfast selection and food quality very good, staff courteous and friendly. May 9, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Initial appearances can be misleading! This hotel from the outside appeared small and uninviting, however walk in through the front doors and it opens up to become a warm and friendly hotel with the surprise bonus of a swimming pool and spa area. Fabulous stay and will definitely be recommending it to others. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay! May 6, 2016
