Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service I was attending a billiard tournament and the place was packed. They did a great job in all areas. The food was average but fast and at a reasonable price. The only thing that could be improved upon is updating the furniture and adding some color to brighten up hallways and rooms. November 17, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable bed Nice comfortable room, with the only downside was that the lighting in the shower was kind of poor (pretty dark once you shut the shower curtain) and the large curtains on the window to outside didn't shut so kind of light in the room. Other than that, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the internet worked well. One weird thing was that when I reserved the room online, it asked if I wanted a free breakfast included. I did, but when I checked into my room, nothing was mentioned about breakfast or how/where I was supposed to get my free breakfast in the morning. After talking to the front desk, they has just forgotten my free breakfast coupon for the restaurant in the morning, and then they put the wrong date on the coupon. None of it a big deal but just kind of a pain. I was there for a conference being held in the hotel. And, it was really weird that the hotel had a restaurant, but it was only open for breakfast and supper.....not for lunch when those of us at the conference needed it. Also, the conference rom was freezing compared to the rest of the hotel. November 12, 2014

Also, at the restaurant for breakfast it took nearly 20 minutes until our server arrived to get us drinks. November 10, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Reservation mistakes not refunded Traveling cross-country, I stayed at several Holiday Inns across the country. I accidentally made a reservation at the Cheyenne location and put the wrong date in and was billed as a "no show". The lady I talked to on the phone was dismissive and could care less about what happened. I called Holiday Inn customer service and they told me that the individual motel would have to make the refund. Oh well, less learned and I am paying for a visit that I never used. (I ended up staying elsewhere). Be extra careful when making your reservation as they are not interested in your mistakes. November 9, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice room, comfortable bed and nice group rate I have stayed at this Holiday Inn many times in the past. Although it is older, it has been well kept and the rooms are very nice. The beds were quite comfortable. We were there for a WQHA/CON convention and received a nicely discounted rate. The banquet served was above average. The children in the group enjoyed the pool. The only real flaw was that there was only one of two elevators functioning, and it broke down later in the evening, so we had a substantial hike to the 6th floor. The other negative for me was that the in room coffee makers were the single serving type with only 2 pouches of regular coffee, so there was no option for a second cup until we went downstairs. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding Staff Sometimes when you check in to a hotel for your stay, or when you experience problems with your room or the amenities, the staff is lackluster in their approach to helping. NOT at the Holiday Inn Cheyenne. From the time we arrived to the time we left, everyone who works at the hotel were friendly and attentive to our needs. There was never any hesitation on their part to fulfill all of our needs in a timely and efficient manner. This made our stay very pleasurable. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Cheyenne to travelers along the I-80 corridor. October 30, 2014
