The company reserved a Corner Deluxe of the supposedly 'renovated rooms'. Upon Check-In (Platinum Desk had no staff so I waited like 10 Minutes at the regular front desk) I was told I received an upgrade to a junior suite. Great! Taking the horrendous elevator up to the 8th floor was already an experience like in a time machine but the room itself was a disgrace. Not sure where the renovation took place because most certainly not in that particular room. I called the Front Desk and asked to please just get what I booked, my Corner Deluxe. Forget about the upgrade. The answer was that is not possible and they have no other rooms available. Garbage! Thankfully I only booked one night.

Generaly speaking, your hotel give GUEST a big space clear room and convnient facilities. But I had a experience of cold night in the third day of staying on your hotel. the center control of room was not work, and the condition was cold but can not adjust it . Hope you keep your facilities in the status all time.

Muy agradable el hotel, ubicado en el centro de la ciudad.
El personal fue muy amable estuvimos siempre muy a gusto.
El desayuno en la terraza a orillas del río fue algo maravilloso! Muchas gracias!

The hotel is starting to renovate rooms ,and that is alsoo needed it starts to look old.
Most of the staff really tryed to make a difference ,but also some was simply not up to standard.
Check in was the worst i tried ,no welcome just give me pasport ,later when they found out (15min) i was member they gave some juice to drink.
One nice thing that i think other IHG hotels could learn from is that i just needed to present my IHG card in bar or resturant ,then we recived 15% on the total bill ,not like some places where you have to fumble around with voucers or only get one welcome drink even 2 people stay togheter .
This should IHG make as a benefit ,maybe different level of discount depending of level.

We four couples had a three nights very comfortable stay at Holiday Inn, Chiangmai. The Staff of all the sections were very accommodating and helpful.
Rooms are quite large and nicely set. Food very good.
Overall experience was very good and in case I am back I will love to stay again at this hotel. I will not hesitate for a moment in recommending this hotel to my friends.

We stayed at holiday inn chiang mai for four nights and we totally loved our stay. We are vegitarian and the huge breakfast buffet had so many choices for us.. Staff very courteous and went out of their way to be helpful and considerate. Concierge gave some very good sightseeing tips. My daughter enjoyed the pool and also all the staff fussing over her. Would definitely return to this place.. Thank you for making our stay so memorable

I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Chiang Mai three separate nights over the course of one week. Each time I was made to feel welcomed by a very efficient and friendly staff. I found the room to be clean and my stay a good value for the money.
