The only negatives of the entire stay was in my room the outlets were not super convenient but that's me being nit-picky. The staff are nice and friendly, the rooms are clean and modern looking. I would only suggest they add some outlets for chargers by the nightstand. This was an inconvenience. . The rooms are well maintained, immaculate and the bed is comfortable and the bathroom beautifully done. The room is spacious, the front desk personnel friendly, efficient and make you feel at home. The best part are the breakfasts. The chef is delightful and the buffet was very good and lots to chose from. I stayed in 5 star hotels before but this Hotel is a better choice. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holding to their high standards I regularly look for HIE whenever we travel because of the consistent quality their properties reflect, and Mason was no exception. The room was clean, the breakfast wonderful and the staff spot on tending to our needs, including going way above and beyond with a particular request (I won't give it away, but it involved chocolate chips :). The only downer was no hot tub, but that's hardly what I would call a deal breaker. We'll definitely stay here again when visiting King's Island. Thanks everyone for making my family happy! The first day breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, but after that the flat pancake type eggs were not very good. The rooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable. I was VERY pleased with my stay at this hotel. It was very clean, comfortable, and staff was helpful. This hotel is blocks away from restaurants, shopping centers, and a movie theater. It is close to Kings Island and a reasonable drive from downtown. I would definitely return to this hotel in the future. August 15, 2014

It's nice that it's a full continental breakfast but the food was more convenient, processed foods. I would prefer a waffle maker than a pancake maker. I didn't like the eggs. Good coffee, though. There was a problem printing our tickets in the business center but the manager was very helpful and got it taken care of. We loved the location of our room which was right next to the exit door, the pool and the fitness center which we well used. August 11, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Experience Each year we take our grandchildren to the local amusement park in this area. We always stay at Holiday Inn, Mason due to its service. Not once, when we check in with 3 small children, have we ever felt unwelcome. The staff is great and friendly with our entire family, including our little ones. The pool is a big plus and is always clean. Breakfast with 3 small children can be stressful; however, the variety of foods serviced on the breakfast bar suits all. My husband and I have stayed at a lot of Holiday Inns across the country and I have to say that this is one of the best. I want to congratulate the staff for their excellent work ethics and for making our stay feel like home. JOB WELL DONE!! July 21, 2014

While I was a little surprised that our room was not clean upon our arrival (after 4pm), it was not a long wait. Facility is well-maintained and I found the staff to be extremely friendly.
