Hotel is well located, food and service is fine but the beds do need an urgent change of mattresses as they are pretty worn out.
you head rests lower than your feed - quite unconfortable feeling.
it is not the first time I noticed this and shall try another hotel in Zona Rosa next time. it gives you bad sleep and back pain.
what a pitty because the hotel is good in general...!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Akku Comfortable bed and great service
Older hotel having had a fairly recent make-over. Guest rooms are comfortable and of a good size. The bathroom showed its age a little with some minor leaks and damage to some tiles evident. Bed is super-comfy.
Rooms very clean, kept well stocked with the usual consumables.
Saturday night rooms on the front of the hotel get noise from the Hard Rock Cafe and other bars.
Noise from the adjoining room was noticeable.
AC is effective but it is an older type which some may find noisy in operation. Personally I like the "hum" as it makes a peaceful white noise which helps me sleep.
other than this room was quiet and very comfortable.
Staff were very helpful and very friendly. Receptionists all spoke good English. Staff elsewhere spoke some or little English but were still very helpful.
Breakfast is great, plenty of variety.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by avoidit Price and exterior appearance may be deceiving
You might be tempted by the price, especially if you are planning for a short stay and don't want to spend too much. But the value you will get for your money will certainly turn the equation to the negative side. You would rather spend USD 10-20 more and access to a better value/price relationship in nearby hotels.
Room was somber, smelly and with non-functional (and pre historic) air conditioning system. Restaurant area is depressing and reminds you of an old factory cafeteria rather than tempting option. I even preferred to do without breakfast rather than exposing myself to it. If you can, avoid it! If no other option was left, trying to change your travel itinerary might be a better option to stay in this hotel.
Fair to say that staff was OK , some friendlier than others, some more apathetic than others...
Again, if you can help yourself from this experience, do it!
