I stayed 3 nights for work in the area. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Enjoyed quiet, uninterrupted sleep. Convenient to have a full restaurant on the premises. Would consider staying here for leisure activities.

As IHG hotels go this one is top notch. Other than the fact that everything is pay as you go, and I do meen everything, I was impressed by the facility and especialy the staff. Raheel in particular remembered my name after 2 days there and asked if everything was to my liking without being prompted to do so. If I have to go back there I will definitly stay again.

The outside of the hotel is nive and the lobby area is great looking. My room was a totally different story. Out dated furnature with rips in the chairs and bed spread covers. The whole room felt dirty and unclean. The heat also wasn't working... when i went to ask if there was another room available they said no. It's a shame because i stay at Holiday Inn's when i travel & i might be rethinking it going forward.

We wish we could have stayed here under better circumstances, (hotel was close to a hospital) but my daughter and I loved it, the staff, upon arriving, was so nice.
I only have one recommendation.....HEAT THE BATHROOM!!!
Every thing else so wonderful, and I bet in the summer a cool bathroom is welcomed....
not so much on a cold Feb night, warm room...cold seat..yikes!!
But one of the better hotels I have been at for the past 9 years.

Cold air was coming in from outside at the bottom of the Heater . A visual inspection that I conducted appeared that the bottom of the heater is not caulked or insulated causing very cold air to come into the room from outside. I could see light from outside and feel the cold air when I set my hand underneath the heater.
There was too much noise coming from the adjacent rooms at night. I heard sounds that of running in the hallway and the stairs. I was kept awake during the night. It appears that the adjacent rooms upstairs, downstairs or on the same floor are not soundproofed. \
The front of the bottom of the toilet bowl base appeared not cleaned. There was a lot of dust....................

Many members of my extended family stayed at the hotel to attend a family bar mitzvah. Unfortunately, this was the weekend of the northeast blizzard. We drove down from CT early to avoid the storm, and the hotel was very accommodating, getting us an early check-in. I cannot say enough about the staff; every encounter was courteous and professional. My son came down with a bad GI virus the second night, and we got a late check out so he could recuperate longer before we made our return trip to CT. Food in The Hub was quite good and I would certainly recommend it .
The only downside is that the blackout shades let in too much light; I really prefer a dark room to sleep in, and the heating units are individual wall units and make a lot of noise when they run. Would certainly suggest an upgrade there. But the mattresses are extremely comfortable and the pillows were great. Overall a very nice property at a fair price.

This was my first time coming to this Holiday Inn and I loved every minute I was there. The staff was friendly and my room was great. The room service was great too. I would stay here again the next time I am in Jersey.

The overall experience exceeded my expectation but the service was the highlight. Every employee I encountered from the front desk to the wait staff in the on site restaurant "The Hub," made my stay better. I would go back. I haven't been to a Holliday Inn in decades and if this is representative of the facilities and service at other Holliday Inns, I will seek them out for my future travel needs.

I travel extensively and stay at mid budget hotels 3-4 nights per week. I found this particular Holiday Inn to be way better than my expectation. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. The food and bar were exceptional and the room was well appointed, modern, clean with good air circulation.
One possible way to improve, provide your coffee in the lobby for free.....do you really need to charge Starbucks prices for hotel quality coffee. Take it from a Gold Priority Guest it should be free!

This is the first time I have stayed in this place since they started flying the Holiday Inn flag. It is an older building but they have done a nice job renovating the space. I really like the look of the new lobby/store/snack bar/bar/restaurant. It is a nice modern open concept space. I didn't happen to eat at the restaurant so I cannot say what the food was like. I had a two-night stay while on business in the area and I was very satisfied.
My room was nicely renovated, new decor, comfortable bedding, and the bathroom while small was well-laid out to take advantage of the space available. There is plenty of free parking and the grounds are well maintained. The room was very quiet and I slept well. The free WIFI was speedy and trouble-free.
I did buy a couple of soft drinks from the lobby store and the prices were about the same as what you would pay at a local convenience store. Thanks for not charging unreasonable prices.
The staff was friendly and helpful. They did acknowledge my Priority Club membership but there weren't any freebies (bottle of water, cookies, etc) like some places in the Holiday Inn chain provide.
The location is good, conveniently located right of the Garden State Parkway in the one and only section of the Parkway that doesn't have tolls. Easy on and easy off the highway in both directions. I will definitely put this on my list of regular places to stay while on business in NJ.

We stayed at the holiday in Clark-NJ, we had an amazing time, the Staff was absolutely amazing, and the hotel very clean and very nice. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. If Holiday Inn has any sister hotels in the Caribbean we will definitely stay there. Kudos to the Staff

customer serives was top notch, everyone from front desk, breakfast buffett servers, chef, bar staff, the rooms were clean and very modern as well as the lobby, again front desk staff very friendly and helpful.

The wind blew through my room like outdoors they taped the window but still did not help much. The food was expensive outrageous. The hotel did not recognize me as a platinum member or a handicap room recipient. The heater was loud and old and the filter was never changed. The hotel looks good but poorly maintained and way over priced. I will never stay there again. Room was never vacuumed my stay of 10 days. I was there on business and had 4 other workers with me. I have had this hotel black balled by our company as a low rated hotel. We spend at leased 200 days a year on the road and to date this hotel rates the lowest.

I was so tired upon arrival. The traffic to drive there was heavy, and it was at the end of a long work day. The staff couldn't have been kinder or nicer or more accomodating. My room was warm, comfortable, there was automatic checkout, and unbelievable as this may seem, I left at 6:30 the next morning (one night stay). I had made reservations by phone a few days prior. The staff person who had taken my reservation by phone a few days prior was present in the lobby that morning, recognized my voice, identified himself, took my bags to my car, and gave me directions to the highway. I couldn't ask for anything more! Well done!!!

I had to be in town for a funeral and didn't know where to stay. I booked this hotel on a chance and when i arrived i was pleasantly surprised. Much better than the other hotel that someone told me about. The staff was great and the hotel was very clean.

all around comfortable stay! the bed and linens on the bed were top notch, and the room was great. The closet in the room could have been bigger...not deep enough, could hardly close the door.
The buffet breakfast, which we hosted for 30+ people, was very good, all you could want, and the coffee was great!

I always look to this hotel as my first choice when I'm up in Northern NJ. The location is great, rooms are good, the front desk workers are top notch.
I had to stay in another Holiday Inn in NJ recently due to a full house at the Clark location and I really was missing this hotel.

While Staying at the Clark Holiday Inn for one night after my nephews Birthday party . WE packed our bags and left after a good nights rest. When I got home i noticed i had forgotten my Toiletry bag. I called the hotel and i told the front Desk manager about it and were i had left it . I asked him if he could mail it back to me and he said yes. This was the day before hurricane Sandy. I am happy to say I received it in the next few days after the storm with everything inside of it. I would defiantly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone else .

The staff is very helpful and courteous.
The rooms are large and comfortable, well equipped. 24 hour access to free computers in the lobby is a plus, and parking is convenient. Overall a good value.

Many problems were encountered!!!
They have removed ALL MICROWAVE OVENS and REFRIGERATORS from the guest rooms!
ICE MACHINES were NOT FUNCTIONING for the entire stay!
When sending staff to room --- they should make sure that they SPEAK ENGLISH!!!! Unable to communicate!
The BAR, LOUNGE and RESTAURANT are all in one big room with no dividers! VERY VERY LOUD - THE NOISE was so great that we could not carry a conversation! And, the service in the bar area was very poor!

I stayed at the newly refurbished Holiday Inn in Clark this past October.
The hotel is redone in a clean, modern motif. Common areas are bright and stylish. The hotel bar is lively and the adjoining dining room offers tasty meals. Service is good.
The staff is friendly and every need was answered with courtesy.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel location was convienient for our group destinations and to the highway (G.S.P.) which made for very easy arrival and departure.
Entire hotel renovation was pleasant.
All 3 rooms I booked for the group were clean and very adequite
for out needs.
My\wifes room was on the 1st floor, as requested due medical reasons, when we made reservations.
I am unable to comment on food & beverage as did not use this restaurant.

The night I stayed at this Holiday Inn a wedding party was at the same site and was extremely loud and troublesome. Someone pulled the fire alarm at 12:30am and we had to evacuate for about 30 minutes. On the way back to my room I complained at the front desk and they said they would turn the OUTSIDE music off. Outside music at 1am! At 1:30 my daughter went down to the front desk to complain about the hall noise and outside noise and all they offered to do was comp her room. I finally fell asleep at 3am! The Holiday Inn did comp us both rooms but that did not help our fatigue the next day as we attended a family function and drove home.

Our experience was great from the beginning. When I arrive at the train station at Westfield, I call to the hotel and wonder if they can help me because we need a taxi. They were so kind and helpful contacting the cab company and made the connect call instantly.
The hotel staff was very kind and pressional.Our room was very clean and confy. We were attending a wedding and give us a group discount.
They also book us a taxi to a ride to the La Guardia Airport (so far from the hotel) and get us a great taxi service (Andy's Limo).
