Our room was just above the live music that the resort had for the evening. The muscian was great and the breeze just wonderful.

We spent one night at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites in Clearwater Beach recently, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location, atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff helped us make the most of our brief stay. From the reception team to the pool bartenders, we felt very welcome and the room was large, nicely arranged and very comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a suite which was a wonderful surprise! Robert P. was very friendly and check in as well as answering any questions we had. We stayed for 1 week. The entire staff from check in to our departure were always friendly, and helpful in every way. Front desk as well as housekeeping. The hotel was always clean, even walking in after 11pm they were cleaning. We enjoyed the live music at Jimmy's very relaxing. We had a rental car that our friend had taken to Naples for a few days, The front desk staff was happy to adjust the parking fee off our bill with out hesitation! This was by far the best hotel experience I have had.

We are elite platinum members, and rarely at a waterfront property can you be treated with respect. Here is one of those places. We were surprised and applaud management when we were upgraded to a gulf front suite with full kitchen, just because of our status. The balcony not only gave us a full view of the gulf, but also the pool, and the stage where the band performed each night. The rooms were also spotless, no very clean; although the balcony rails could use a fresh coat of paint.
Location - This resort is on the quieter end of Clearwater Beach, but only a ten minute walk to the heart of the beach and pier, and a ten minute walk to Sand Key. There is no beach access here, but it is only a three minute walk.
Dining - Lunches and dinners are excellent here. Even though there is only one restaurant, we ate different meals each lunch and dinner. Food prices were slightly below average for the area resorts. Breakfast left a little to be desired as the selection was small, and food not prepared to order twice. Drinks were also slightly below average price, and mixed average strength. If you are a Packers fan, this is the restaurant to go to, as the head chef is from Wisconsin and a die hard fan. Go Pack Go !!
Pool - Never had trouble finding a chair in a busy pool area, because there is far more chairs long the water's edge, which made for a relaxing nap or tanning session. Tiki Bar staff was not overly pushy, which allowed those who wanted to get loud and carry on be corralled near the bar, and away from other guests, but still close enough to the pool and water.
Already looking to come back in the fall !!

The service at the restaurant was awful!!
Our stay was for 4 nights and really didn't want to venture off to other
The restaurant could probably generate more revenue with more staff and an on site manager!!!
Food was good!!!

Our gulf front balcony suite was fantastic. Outside our balcony was the music venue in the restaurant area. We enjoyed listening to the steel drums.

The pillows were tiny but ok. Only issue was that the hotel was advertised as on A beach and there was no beach - otherwise a good hotel
