Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Long drive and overbooked I would assume that this would normally be a good motel at which to stay for a visit to the Cleveland Clinic. Overbooking, a smaller bed than ordered, and a backed up toilet, and no pool access made it less than a typical comfortable stay at a Holiday Inn. April 16, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great value for a baseball trip My mom and I stayed at this hotel after traveling to Cleveland to see the final opening weekend game between the Tribe and the Detroit Tigers. We chose this hotel because of its price and proximity to public transit (we took the train down to Tower City instead of parking downtown). Check in was quick and painless, and the room was was clean and comfortable with the exception of the pillows; I made the mistake of not bringing my own, so that one is on me. Their pool area was closed, which was unfortunate because we were looking forward to spending time there, but my mom said the bar/lounge was nice and attentive when she went down in the evening after we got back; they were also reasonably priced compared to what we spent downtown. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unfortunate working environment for staff We stayed here as a layover from Chicago to Williamsburg, VA. Unfortunately, we would have been better off driving straight to Williamsburg. Staff was very accommodating and trying so hard with all guests; however, the hotel is in desperate need of updating in all aspects. Plus the pool was not available at all (I wouldn't recommend maintenance during spring break season). We didn't sleep at all that night due to the heater that kept going on and off LOUD even though we had shut it off. We love Holiday Inns, but have had much better experiences at different locations. Suites for families would be helpful as well instead of just double beds. April 9, 2015
