When we got to the room the bathroom door handle was falling off. I fixed it. I went to open the mirrored closet door and it almost hit me in the head it was off the tracks. The same thing happened in my daughters room I had to put hers on too.
I had to talk my daughter into eating breakfast in the hotel. When we got down there the bacon was cold as well as the scrambled eggs.
My daughter has severe allergies to soy, dairy and nuts when she informed the cook who was making omelets of them and asked her if she could use olive or canola oil not the spray or butter for the pan. She frowned and thru the spatula down and went to the back. She came back with an oil and made the omelet.
I went and talked to the manager and he apologized and talked to the cook.
We did not pay for the meal but I feel that the problem was that the cook did not understand English and the severity of the problem. If my daughter got sick she opened the hotel to a possible law suite. This incident clouded our stay.

We have stayed here many times over the years but our last visit was disappointing. The hotel room was old and didn't seem clean and fresh. The view from the window overlooked the loading dock which had old toilets and trash for us to look at. We were not treated as members like we had been before. The breakfast food was not good. Muffins and danish were stale and the fruit was old.

we stayed at the hotel for a wedding and reserved a suite. the room was musty and smelled like mold. we ultimately just uses the room as a dressing room and checked out. the hotel could not provide a room as there were many events and had no additional rooms. i cannot recommend this hotel nor would i ever stay in one again.

the town of clinton is lovely and the hotel is beautiful. very nice lobbies and a fantastic pool. as platinum members we were given a welcome bonus and an upgrade. the rooms were great. really nice and quiet. Rooms are a bit dark and when i mentioned this to the front desk they said that they were aware of this concern and were working on making the rooms brighter. i also expressed concern over someone from the hotel rapping on many of the room doors in the morning and then opening the door and not closing them quietly. i was told that this would be looked in to. i look forward to hearing a reply about this. its a bit of a drive for us to come from brooklyn but it was well worth it and we look forward to coming again.
