After staying at this Hotel periodically and for many days, i have decided to finally write a review.
I stayed so many days, i got my Spire there this year.
To start with, the staff is the most awesome staff in a hotel business, they really work as a team, they are friendly and they try to help the customer in every possible way. I had not one bad experience with the staff.
I am a person with allergies and always careful about staying in places taking in pets. There seems to be no pet policy at all. In 2014 i was assured that pets only stay on second floor. This is not the case. I already saw and heard dogs on every floor. I really would want to know what the cleaning procedure is after having a dog in a hotel room. This question was not answered to me in the hotel.
Besides hearing kids running around in the hallway or dogs barking sometimes, it is very quiet in the hotel.
-- I witnessed a complaint about hearing loud music coming from the bar One-Eleven which is within the Hotel and is so loud that people on second floor can hear it. There also is nothing done about that no sound shield or anything.
The rooms are clean and satisfying. I have been to Room #512 a few weeks ago and it looked like someone spit against the wall in several spots and the spit ran down the wall. Now i am in this Room again and nothing has changed. After mentioning it, someone tried to wipe it of, it looks better, but only a repainting would do the job.
Sometimes the lamps don't stand or hang straight or a bulb or led is missing.
I heard a customer mentioning, having to kill a roach in his room.
The shower is terrible and this problem is in every room. The valve for the shower does not mix the hot and cold water properly. Either it is not warm enough, or it burns. It is only possible to get the right temperature by carefully tapping the lever into the right direction. After mentioning this several times throughout staying in different rooms, nothing changes.
The breakfast is good. The food is good too. There is complimentary coffee in the morning, that's fine as well.
Although there is a Coffee machine in the rooms, they charge $2.00 for a small bottle of water. And there is no complimentary water in the rooms. Throughout the day there is lemon, orange or cucumber water for free in the lobby.
Free use of computers and printers.
The suites on third floor are facing the pool are, it is very disturbing and noisy in there.
While taking a shower after a swim the lights would permanently shut off and let me stand in the shower in the dark.
Overall the Hotel is OK. I do not like that peoples complaints about repairable things or improvements are ignored by the management or owner. I hear since August 2014 the management has been replaced 3 times.
The owner doesn't really care about maintaining the place so much. I don't mint that there are some things wrong every now and then, but if nobody takes care, that is bad. If an owner doesn't care about the own hotel i wonder how he really feels about guests.

clean and quiet facility with a friendly staff. Clinton is an adorable town - so even if you're stopping for a short stay, pop into the town .. it's just a mile down the street.
Hotel was clean and welcoming.

The bed had a stain in the sheets
Internet was VERY slow
Broken bench in exercise area with no sign saying it was broken
Breakfast is 10.95, which is way too expensive
