Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and understanding of chidlren I have previously stayed in a different Holiday Inn with the single most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. However, this bed was really, really comfortable. The room was massive. The bathroom was okay but not very clean unfortunately. The restaurant on the first night was very quiet and we were served quickly. The waiter was lovely and my kids made an awful mess but he didn't mind. The second night was a little busier and we waited hours and hours for our food. Each course took about an hour with a toddler and a baby who were both screaming and tired by the end. Again the waiter was nice but no need for such a long wait as not that busy. Breakfasts were quick and much nicer than other hotel breakfasts I've had. Pool was nice enough, not the best but was free to use so can't complain! November 26, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not better than before At the reception, my colleague got a room with now view and then he requested a different and as well a quiet room, but they gave another room near to the rail. I wanted to enter my IHG, at first instant the receptionist was not evening knowing what is it until her senior explained. There was no Laundry service at all. The bathroom towel was not smelling good, the iron table cloth was stained. We put wake up calls, for first two days no calls and when we asked the other day not even an sorry. The Bar service was poor and the breakfast became more basic (previous stay there were fresh fruits and counter staff for freshly prepared foods). Everything was just basic and very rough attitude. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Warm and Welcoming hotel To me, the overall look of the hotel is important but not as important as great customer service and attention to your needs. All the staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful and very welcoming, in particular Clair on reception. The hotel was extremely well kept, decorated and had an excellent bar/lounge area.
