Only issue at all was quality of bar food on night. Very poor fish (fish and chips meal), service also a little underwhelming.

It was a good experiences start to finish!
Clean and comfortable room, quiet location.
The staff were pleasent and helpful.
At breakfast there was more than enough choice.

The guy at reception was beyond helpful with direction advise, putting my family and me at total ease and setting a positive tone.
Lovely chap in charge of the gym also very helpful.
My little girl wanted a fruit smoothie type in a glass at breakfast unfortunately my eldest had the last one, my wife asked the waitress who went out of her way to get one.
Very nice staff

Very nice surroundings, easy to find. Staff welcoiming and informative, ie about the dartford toll charge and payment. Restaurant waiter excellent. food th a very high standard.

Avoid at all cost till this hotel can be sorted out and brought back upto Holiday Inn standards. Rooms and bathrooms are filthy. Rooms require updating and refreshing. Food is of a poor quality and the time it takes to place an order and receive food is not acceptable. Waited for over an hour to get food and it is only very simple pub fod and nothing gourmet.

I paid extra to have an executive room which was advertised with 'complimentary bottled water, towelled bathrobes and slippers'. I received none of these items during my two night stay, when I asked at the Front Desk on the first night I was told it was probably because the maids had run out of these items and was assured they would be there on my second night, this was not the case!.
Is it not the case that if these options are not available yo should not be advertising them? Or at least you should not be charging guests for them if they are not available.
