Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Where is the famous customer service at this location that I have come to appreciate! Just got off the phone with the front desk. After explaining the specific need I have for two adjoining rooms for a future reservation and that I needed a guarantee for this, not only did the front desk ignore my request to NOT go to the generic reservation desk, she went ahead and tried to transfer me, refusing to at least look into if rooms were available. Guess its time to find another hotel that is willing to work with me. So sad, as this facility is clean, comfortable and convenient to my travel needs. July 27, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by unhappy traveler My friend & I stayed a full weekend here, & it was a hassle every step of the way. The parking was extremely inconvenient & DARK. The hotel was extremely close to another hotel & we had trouble going to the correct parking lot. Our key to the door timed out/didn’t work EVERY SINGLE time we left the building. So after walking far & being so confused with the way the rooms were setup we had to travel back to the front desk to get new cards. The staff was not friendly nor helpful.. they didn’t not even apologize for the issues with the keys. July 22, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Extreme rudeness and charge for breakfast Out of a one week trip with five hotel stays, this is the only hotel where I was treated with extreme rudeness. Shorty after making the reservation we went to check in and the person at the desk was LeBertha. She was handling at least four separate transactions, called for help, and was told by whoever she spoke to that they were too busy to help. Even so, she had no excuse for her inhospitable behavior and the length of time it took to check in. As we neared completion of check in the other paying party in my group (we were getting two rooms) noticed that the rate we were going to be charged increased significantly on the second night. We stepped aside to check in to the issue as that wasn't what we were told when the phone reservation was made. The manager overheard our issue and looked in to it and learned that yes, the second night's rate should be the same as the first night. He then went to the other paying party in our group, "the male", and explained it to him with no acknowledgement of me. At that point, someone else was at the desk with LeBertha and she gave us our keys and kind, welcoming words (Melissa or Michelle, I think). After arriving in our room, I was thrilled to see there was a safe but it wouldn't open so I called the front desk. I recognized LeBertha's voice on the other end of the line and was told very rudely that none of the safes work and they are being removed from the rooms. How was I to know that, and was that tone in her response necessary? At the time of checkout I took my keys to the front desk and handed them to LeBertha. She looked at me and said "Did you get a bill under your door?" I said "yes," and she said "well, you're all set then". Everyone at the hotel was very kind and welcoming, with the exception of LeBertha and the chauvinistic manager. I would not stay again because of my experience with LeBertha. This is also the first Holiday Inn I've stayed at where there is a charge for breakfast. July 19, 2015
