Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyable overnight This hotel was a lay over, after a long ride, on our way to South Carolina. So glad I pick this Holiday Inn. It was perfect, except for the mattress. Ce Ce the bartender was awesome 2 thumbs up for her service, and advice on traveling. Thank you. One other thing The bar opens at 6 could have used a drink a little earlier after the long, long ride April 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed I have stayed at other HI Express locations in past but this location was disappointing. Found a dirty rolled up sock at the bedside and other small items on the floor which then made us question the cleanliness of the remainder of the room/bathroom. Bathroom had hairs on the floor as well. Beds and pillows were comfortable and staff were friendly. I was disappointed in the lack of an included continental breakfast which other locations have. I wouldn't choose this location again if the choice were presented again in the future. April 22, 2016

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rough start The doors do not have closures so every time someone lets their door close without holding on to it, it slams loudly shaking your room. There is a fairly noticeable gap between the door and the floor so you can hear people sneezing and coughing. I was not greeted as a Priority Club member, seems like if this is one of the big corporate conversations, all of the check-in staff should remember to greet you as such, if you are. I was immediately told about the 150 dollar in room smoking fine and the room I was put into smelled like someone had just been smoking in it. I called down and they brought me up a key to a new room. I tried to enter, but it did not work, the housekeeper tried to help me with the key card, then used hers....someone was occupying the room, and that is why my card would not work. I had to take all of my stuff and myself back down to speak with the manager about all of the issues. She DID make it right, got me a new room and compensated my trouble with some points. Not a good start to a hotel stay. Room was comfortable and clean, but if you have a lot of business suits or casual clothes there is not enough room for either. 1 person with luggage for a week will not have enough clothing room. Plenty of food and shopping options within less than a 5 minutes drive 10 minutes for Starbucks and numerous other options. There are several very friendly staff who greet you each time you go by. The breakfast was nice and a had good options and fresh fruit. April 10, 2016
