Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not my favorite.....but nice property The check in process took a long time, although I was the only guest. I had asked for a first floor room when I booked and was placed on the second floor. At check-in, I asked for NO room service during my stay, placed the door hanger on the door knob and yet still got a form letter under my door telling me to contact front desk immediately if I did not want service...hmmm, already did that! I was also surprised to see a "hold" placed on my company credit card for incidentals...which has not been credited back yet. Just not what I expected all around..... March 28, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by One great staff member I stayed at the hotel 4 nights for a business trip. The room was nice and there was one young lady at the desk in the evening that was exceptionally nice. I wish I could remember her name, but she was as helpful as anyone I've ever had contact with. I really didn't see anyone else. The hotel is very close to good places to eat and that is good because the food at the hotel is way too expensive and not that good for the price. I was tired the first night and went down for some dinner in the hotel café/bar. Over $15 before tip is outrageous for three chicken tenders, (overcooked# a few fries, a small salad, #very small and not so fresh) and a glass of water. The next morning I had breakfast at the hotel and it was over $12 for the buffet and a cup of coffee. Nothing special about the meal and the service was not good either. I didn't see a menu or a staff member so I didn't know the cost of the meal until I got my check. However, with Texas Roadhouse and Waffle House right across the road I did not eat there again. Bringing a staff of 18 adults to a hotel at the end of a long day of workshops only to find that our reservations did not match the computer was very embarassing and disconcerting. The hotel staff eventually found spaces for us to sleep but they were definitely not HI's finest. March 17, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Matress or trampoline Overall the stay was okay and what we expect from this chain. The room keys provided at check in had stopped working by the time we made it to our room so we had to go back and get new cards programmed. They did work for the rest of our stay. The elevators are horribly slow. There are 3 elevators for a 6 story hotel, that did not seem crowded, but we waited for elevators for several minutes each time. The bed at this hotel was horrible. The bed was tilted towards the head so it felt like we were inclined the entire night. Had we been staying more than one night we would have demanded to change rooms. As well, the mattress was very, very springy and bouncy. Not at all a comfortable bed. On a brighter note, the staff was very attentive and courteous March 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The stopping of Gift Bags at check-in When I first started to stay at this Hotel property the staff would present me with a gift bag at check-in time,but since my last couple of hotel stays they have stopped. Those gift bags enchanced my hotel stay experience because it made me feel like I was welcomed and/or special to the staff as a guest, but now I feel no difference in my hotel experience with your franchise then when I stay at other places. Please consider re-starting that privilege again that sets your franchise apart from the other hotel franchises because it just good business sense. March 5, 2015
