The rooms were clean, plenty of space to walk around, and the sleeping was comfortable for all. I would definitely go back and stay if I am ever in Columbia, Missouri. June 3, 2014

When we told Chris at the front desk that we were in Columbia because our son had surgery that morning and was in the hospital, he left a very nice card in our room that evening and gave us the reduce rate for hospital stay. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 1 night stay in 2 room suite First stay at this property while we we in town to visit friends who were in town visiting their son (all of us used to live in Columbia). It was a busy weekend in Columbia with tournaments & shows and I'm happy we wound up at this hotel since it was a good location and a first time experience for my wife & I. I'm Gold IHG Rewards and the front desk check-in was very friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and ample space since I tend to sleep less than my wife, it worked well for me to occupy myself in the sitting room until my wife awoke in the morning. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel since we were meeting our friends for Sunday Brunch at Bleu but the bar had a decent selection of Merlot (Red Diamond was very good) when we decided to have a nightcap in our suite. The bed was softer than I prefer but my wife thought it was fine. We will probably stay again the next time we're in town. May 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome This is my second time staying here while visiting my daughter at Mizzou. Though it is farther than I would like its a wonderful hotel. It's an upscale Holiday Inn and such a bargain for what you get. Although breakfast is not included, my daughter and I ordered room service for breakfast. They were only 20 minutes late and they comped me the breakfast AND gave us extra food. Felt bad because it was more than we could eat. But it will definitely be my go to hotel every time we are in the area. April 30, 2014

They use some sort of cleaning product or spray the smells badly and causes a major reaction for people with scent allergies. The window would not open -- so we were unable to "air out" the room. The staff was the real highlight however. Very friendly, helpful and they even wished my son luck in a note under the door the morning we left. Well done Marissa, Gina and Shelby! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay!! I am originally from Columbia so I use a lot of the hotels around whenever I visit home. This weekend we stayed for one night on our way to a Cardinals game and were very impressed. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and made both our check-in and check-out very easy. Our room was very nice and our be was VERY comfortable which is great since not being in my own bed is my biggest problem with hotels. We went out for dinner but came back for a couple of drinks at the lounge before going to sleep and were surprised how reasonable the drinks were (and not just for a hotel, all around reasonable drink prices) and the bar staff was very friendly and quick. We had an overall great stay with absolutely nothing that I can think of needing changed. We will definitely be here more for our trips across to see the Cards!! April 14, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Did not allow to check in until 4 pm Show up around 2:15PM. Was not allowed to check in due to policy of 4 pm check in. We offered to wait until a room is ready but was told that they will not have a room available until 4 PM. We stayed on the 3rd floor. Insulation was poor that we can feel people running on the higher floors. April 8, 2014

I reserved a suite 6 months in advance here to make sure I received a suite, and when I checked in there were no suites available for me. This is my number 1 pet peeve with hotels, so I will never stay here again. HOWEVER, the restaurant & the restaurant staff were excellent, so if you are looking to stay somewhere out of the way without having to leave it would be a good choice. It's really not near anything besides a Jimmy Johns. March 19, 2014

The rooms were very clean and I was impressed with the Level of service I receieved over all. I was however a bit disturbed by the loudness of the guests in the lobby. At the last minute my grandson decided to come with us and I failed to call and change my reservation - but there was no problem at all - I asked for a roll away bed and instead they upgraded me to a suite which was awesome for us and especially my 17 year old grandson. Everything about the room was awesome and all staff that we encountered were very helpful, friendly, polite. The breakfast at the restaurant was one of the best I have had in a long time - it was hot when served. Our waitress Sheryl was so great - HI should be glad they have such a great employee. The young man at the front desk was personable and helpful, and even gave us a discount coupon for the restaurant, which we used at breakfast the next morning. My son and his fiancee enjoyed the hot tub; it helped take out the kinks from driving all day. Our room was immaculate, the bed was extremely comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and would recommend it highly to any and all travelers. November 29, 2013

Everyone I met was very friendly and went out of their way to be of service. The front desk, the wait staff in the restaurant and bar, the cleaning staff on the floor were all great.
