Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great stay The hotel was great but I did not realize I was given a handicap room till I got upstairs and didn't want to go to the trouble of switching rooms. Perhaps the reservation was made that way as an agency placed the reservation but I wish the front desk would have mentioned that at check in. November 20, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Location For Event, A Little Pricey For the Condition this hotel appears to be older, as the carpet in my 7th floor room was very frayed at the threshold where the entry meets the sleeping area. Also, there was a large chip in the tub enamel and the tile seemed dated. The shower fixture was loose on the wall where the shower head attaches to the wall. There was no information posted in the room or hall signs to indicate where the ice machine or vending machine was located, where caused multiple trips to the front desk to ask. Because my room was right in front of the elevator doors, and the hallway is very narrow, only a few feet from door to door, I heard a lot of people coming and going and talking during the stay. The desk DID call my room soon after arrival to inquire if everything was ok with the room. They also asked if the stay was enjoyable as we checked out. PLUS: there is a restaurant on site and we ate a late dinner there. It was comfortable and the food was good for the price. I was glad it was available to us as the weather was frigid and we were tired from our drive. November 19, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great experince for conference trip My stay at the Holiday Inn Capital Square Columbus was a joyful experince. In town for a conference, the staff was great, facilities were super and the restruant food was superb. I will plan another visit to Columbus in the near future and this will be my choice place to stay. The room was clean, the towels in bathroom were soft, big and plentiful. November 14, 2014
