Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and overall nice hotel. Overall good experience. They could have done a better job with accommodation with my room and it being ready. They also can do a better job with having towels for the rooms and for IHG members accommodating late check out for 2:00pm. Every other Holiday Inn I stayed at accommodated me with that. The hotel was easily accessible from the main highway and very convenient to the location where I was traveling to. The rooms were nice and clean and easily accessible. The staff was very attentive, courteous and friendly. They made me feel very welcome. If I would need to come back to Columbus GA, I would stay there again. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. I appreciate the courteous service very much and I want to thank them for making this a very enjoyable trip for me and my family. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great front desk customer Service I have stayed @ the Holiday Inn on Manchester Expressway in Columbus, Ga. for the passed three weeks. Being a Management Consultant, I recognize good customer service. The front desk and lobby made a great fist impression . The lobby is always clean including the entrance mat (no stains). You are always greeted with a warm sincere friendly smile. Ms. Vickie is the perfect example of what a"front desk receptionist" should be. She is totally professional but with the warmth of making you feel at home away from home. Being a Management Consultant for an International Company, I travel 90% of the time. I know great customer service when I experience it. It is like a breath of fresh air when you walk into the lobby and greeted @ the H I in Columbus,Ga. September 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great service, good vaule and overall wonderful experiance This vacation was for a Vietnam gun truck reunion. The staff was amazing, going out of there way to accommodate our large group, (almost 200) They were like family before we left knowing our names and joining in with our group. They honored our Vietnam vets in so many ways including a personal, beautiful plaque presented to the group in a touching ceremony at the end of our visit which brought tears to many an eye. Before we left they helped set up next years reunion at the Holiday Inn in Tenn so I guess that tells you how well they took care of us! The rooms were clean and well appointed, laundry facilities were available, breakfast was wonderful with many choices daily. We were there for a week and I also used the business center for printing out stuff free of charge, internet in the room was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in town. The employees are couteous and friendly, however, the rooms are in need of remodeling, especially the bathrooms. The rooms are at least clean, but the fixtures and paint are old and need to be replaced. August 26, 2014
