Upon arrival the staff was very friendly, however the room key did not work upon going back twice to get it reactivated. The maintenance man finally came to help out and try and give us a pass key. Internet was down due to storms, which was no fault of the hotel but still frustrating.
The hotel itself was not clean, doors were filthy and sticky, handles and walls very old and not wiped down, rooms not cleaned well at all. Hair in beds and still bathrooms on floors and in tub.
Lobby was very welcoming and so was staff, but then to find out no elevator was also disappointing. Would have been nice to have been warned.
Made a two day stay very uncomfortable for a very exciting occasion to celebrate for a military graduation. Spent a day in a room that the TV did not work well either. Not relaxing or welcoming.
Very disappointed in the overall stay for a Holiday Inn.

I had 3 interactions with the front desk staff and the first two felt cold. They just weren't very friendly. The last gentleman was very friendly. The bartender was very nice; however, the food was expensive. It was also disappointing that there was no refrigerator in the room so my leftovers from dinner had no place to be kept fresh. We were on the 2nd floor (no elevator) and towards the back of the winding building so the couple times we had to go to the front desk seemed like a 5 minute walk through all of the corridors. The check out process was quick, just leave the keys in the room and you're done.

The most important thing to me was the guest service. the staff as I stated before was great as well as the food. The room was clean and I had easy assess to my vehicle so I did not have to carry my luggage to far of a distance.

Overall good experience. They could have done a better job with accommodation with my room and it being ready. They also can do a better job with having towels for the rooms and for IHG members accommodating late check out for 2:00pm. Every other Holiday Inn I stayed at accommodated me with that.

I enjoyed my stay at this Holiday Inn Columbus-North I-185 very much. The hotel was easily accessible from the main highway and very convenient to the location where I was traveling to. The rooms were nice and clean and easily accessible. The staff was very attentive, courteous and friendly. They made me feel very welcome. If I would need to come back to Columbus GA, I would stay there again. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. I appreciate the courteous service very much and I want to thank them for making this a very enjoyable trip for me and my family. Thank you very much.

I have stayed @ the Holiday Inn on Manchester Expressway in
Columbus, Ga. for the passed three weeks. Being a Management
Consultant, I recognize good customer service.
The front desk and lobby made a great fist impression
. The lobby is
always clean including the entrance mat (no stains). You are always greeted with a warm sincere friendly smile. Ms. Vickie is
the perfect example of what a"front desk receptionist" should be.
She is totally professional but with the warmth of making you feel
at home away from home.
Being a Management Consultant for an International Company, I travel 90% of the time. I know great customer service when I experience it. It is like a breath of fresh air when you walk into the
lobby and greeted @ the H I in Columbus,Ga.
