Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Old Hotel and Terrible Dining EXperience I normally choose Holiday Inn while traveling. This hotel was disappointing. 1. Hotel looks and feel old. 2. Restaurant is a night and day difference between breakfast and supper. Breakfast has a welcoming smiling staff and good food. The Dinner staff is cold and treats you like you are a bother. They yell across the dining rom in Spanish to each other, but could not come to the table to refill water glass. Ordered a steak dinner and the quality of the steak was worse than fast food and the side dish was cold. 3. Went to check out in the morning and the bill still showed a remaining balance, it took 20 minutes for the staff to apply the final night stay to the bill! This hotel makes me rethink using Holiday Inns and my hotel while traveling. December 25, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday inn Horrible horrible Internet. Service was great especially Kay and Moira. My room didn't have a desk chair and when I asked for one they said there weren't any available because they were all taken by other rooms. Like what? Did you design a hotel with 250 rooms but then only order 249 desk chairs? Who does that? Did I mention the Internet was horrible? It was like Internet in the 50's, non existent. The bed was comfy, the location was great. There were just certain things that really annoyed me. Like the Internet. A world without Wifi is a world I'm not interested in. December 22, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not always functional but conveniently located Stay here for a close to University experience at a low price. It is not posh and they nickle and dime you for everything - breakfast is extra, parking has a fee, horrible Wi-Fi in room which is not free unless you are an IHG member. So it's convenient but very hard to conduct any business there if you need WiFi access. Also be prepared to pay extra for everything! December 13, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable, surprisingly quiet, but room key issues We stayed at this location for a week, and we enjoyed most of our time there. There were a couple days where the hotel room keys were demagnetized, and my husband had to go down to the lobby (twice each time) before the room key would work. While this was just a minor inconvenience the first time, the second time it happened, I had to get inside the room to get a medication I had forgotten to take. I spoke to hotel management (Moira and Michelle), and they were very nice and apologetic. They comped the room for the night, and they sent someone to check the card reader. Overall, I would recommend this location. December 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptional Service We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn - Coral Gables. Every member of the staff was cheerful and helpful. The room was great and overlooked the pool. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and we are looking forward to staying there again in the future. December 10, 2014
