We were given a complimentary room upgrade since we are platinum elite members, and a $10 voucher towards breakfast. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Bed/bedding was great. It was the quietest hotel we have stayed at in a long time and got a great night's sleep. Will stay there again when in the area! December 18, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room and courteous staff My family booked 4 rooms for the Iowa-Nebraska football game and the booking and the check-in went very well. We were very pleased with the overall condition of the rooms, the quality of the towels and linens and the cleanliness of both the room and the bathroom. We did not use the conference area or the dining facility but the lobby was attractive in appearance with newspapers and coffee readily available for the guests. The front desk staff were professional and courteous sharing Nebraska-Iowa jokes with these Nebraska fans which made the experience pleasant. The motel is conveniently located just off the interstate near the Iowa University campus and shopping and restaurants are just a few minutes away. I would stay there again on future visits. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by okay experience This holiday inn allows dogs. I love dogs and have one, however the room next to us had a dog that barked non stop from early in the morning to lunch. It woke me up and I was unable to sleep. I complained to the front desk and the lady said what do you want me to do about it? And was very rude. Another employee stepped in and said they were handling it. It was not handled and my husband and I left. Another room or a discount would have been nice. Or even someone being professional at the front desk would have done the trick. I stay almost exclusively at IHG bands and this one was the worst. December 3, 2014
