We've stayed here many times for hospital appointments. The staff, without fail, have gone over and beyond what would be expected. This time, special kudos to Bob, for rapid replacement of the refrigerator and his attention to detail in the transport van.

I reserved two rooms and one of the room I stayed in it smell like pets has been urinated in the room and has not been cleaned. Also this is the first Holiday inn express that is not offer free breakfast.

I enjoyed another great stay in Coralville. The desk staff is always warm and accommodating and the support staff does a wonderful job day in and day out.

When we were leaving around 7:30 am, my daughter was loading my mobile cart into the back of our mini van. An employee who was just driving into work saw my daughter and stopped to help her lift my cart into the back of our van.

My husband and I always stay at Holiday Inn when we travel and have had many positive experiences. This place was totally disappointing. The toilet ran all night unless we manually adjusted the flapper. The light on the telephone blinked all night, even when we were told it would be fixed. The gentleman at the desk dissappeared shortly after we had dinner and never reappeared. The wake up call in the morning was persistent and only shut off after we responded to three separate calls. Dinner in the onsite restaurant/bar and service by the bartender was very good but otherwise our stay was unsatisfactory.

Being a Platinum member sure is great, even on game day weekend. Booked a room due to last minute cancellation but only smoking room and king size were available. Front desk noticed I was platinum and changed to non-smoking with 2 queens so in-laws could come along and enjoy the weekend.

Nice hotel, very comfortable, relaxed setting. A few issues: no hair conditioner in room, desk lamp's plug didn't work. Maid must have misunderstood us. We asked her to come back in an hour, but she never came back, leaving beds unmade etc. reported all to mgmt. Still, we would use this hotel again. Great atmosphere.

Stayed at the hotel one night and the check in was easy, fast and efficient. Staff was helpful and able to recommend local restaurants etc. I did however, have two problems. The first concerned room cleanliness. There was an arm chair in the room which was right against the bed. When I moved it, found that housekeeping hadn't done the same. There were crumbs all over the floor and an empty plastic cup under the chair as well. And to add insult to injury, when I went into the bathroom, there was hair clinging to the shower wall that was neither the same color or length as mine. The other involved food service. There's a restaurant attached to the hotel and when I checked in I was given a ten dollar discount voucher for breakfast. Printed on the back of the voucher it said breakfast was served until 1000. I went into the restaurant at 0935 and it was completely empty, no guests, no staff. I called out, knocked on the kitchen door, etc and couldn't find anyone. A young woman showed up, looked surprised to see me and when I asked if I was in the right place and could I still get breakfast, she told me yes I was and she would be only too happy to get me a breakfast parfait or something similar to go. No table service, no menu to select from, just food to go. After several decades in the travel, tourism and hospitality industries, I would strongly suggest that if you contract with someone to provide a service you should insure that they do. As a Priority Club member, I was surprised these two things happened as nothing similar has ever happened at any Holiday Inn I've ever stayed at.
