Overall a pleasant stay for the week that I was there. The staff were all very friendly and helpful (especially David and Ian). a very good selection of food at breakfast and a nice variety in the evenings. Service was quick and staff were polite. The heating in my room was not working but the receptionist resolved this quickly. The furniture in the rooms are a little dated but room was clean and cleaned daily. Would re vist

From initial arrival to final departure (albeit one night) i was both pleasantly welcomed, informed and looked after. Lovely place to stay. Staff were switched on, knowledgeable and very friendly. Food service was good, with the food very nice and served in a timely fashion. The room was warm and comfortable. The only downside to this place is the decor - and it is only a small minor as it really is just the decor.. slightly outdated but still clean and intact :) but I am aware they are due a refurb at some point in the near future, so if the need of a paint job doesn't put you off - I would highly recommend this place.

Location, value and staff service is good. However, the facilities are tired. The last refurbishment must have been more than 20 years ago. Taped up carpets, noisy doors slamming, ancient gym equipment.

Having stayed a few times now as a stop over I see considerable improvement. Now the lift works and rooms have been redecorated.
Hope the stair carpet is replaced in the March updates.

Stayed at the Corby Holiday Inn for 60 days while working at one of the local RAF bases. The hotel has seen better days and in desperate need of remodeling and upgrading. Carpet is held together with duct tape, tubs are very narrow, shower heads are only 6 feet high, and the elevator gets stuck on a weekly basis, the high top tables in the bar area need to be re-finished, the tv in the bar is too small and not easily viewed by all. On the other hand the staff is the best I have seen (I travel 70% of the year); the reception staff Shannon, Imogene, Sabrina; the bar staff, Daniel, Janine and the breakfast staff (sorry I don’t remember the names). Management could be friendlier, you might think that for the time I was at the hotel, they would have initiated some discussions or at least known who I was when I would initiate a ‘Good Morning’.

Hotel is very dated and this affected the quality of the experience. Food was also quite poor on this occasion in the on site restaurant.
