Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Good service but didn't save poor experience Noisy hotel. Road noise to be expected I guess given the location, but also there seemed to be some kind of plumbing issue causing an almighty noise in my room. It was so unbearable that it stopped me from sleeping and I had to eventually move rooms at 1:10am because I couldn't stand it anymore. The staff member who dealt with it was very good. He immediately offered a room change, came to my room and carried my bag to the new room for me. Breakfast was mediocre. There was a good selection of food but the quality didn't seem great to me. Scrambled egg, beans and hash brown were bland, and the bacon was so crisp I could snap it in half! I didn't enjoy my stay and left feeling shattered and very downhearted. I struggled to stay awake on the train into London after my poor sleep, and then was so tired and downhearted I ended up getting an early train home from London. February 10, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by still not learning the room I stayed in was a room for disabled guests. It was poorly equipped, dirty and potentially, unsafe. Wheelchair users would find it difficult to use this room The hotel is undergoing much need renovation although we were not told this on booking. The breakfast was cold and pretty inedible, served in a makeshift dining room. Service in the bar was only obtained after asking reception for service Wifi in my room was non existent The fitness room has had a makeover and the new kit in there is good February 1, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfort in the hotel. I had a great stay and have used the hotel many times before. The reception area and some of the rooms are going through a major refurbishment. However I am looking forward to enjoying the new standards . Corby is a very industrial area and I have a business in the area and the Holiday Inn Corby is the very best Hotel and value in this area.
