The hotel is most conveniently located. It is right by LGA, but also a few blocks from the above ground (aka subway) to the city.
In addition, I canget a rental at the hotel and return it to the hotel, there is a shuttle to LGA.
If you need a car, but don't want to drive into the city, this is tops!

Nice hotel, great location for the airport. Staff very friendly and helpful. My only problem was the only newspaper available was USA today which shouldn't be called a newspaper. It's New York, get some New York papers.

Front Desk Service Lacking.
Stood in line to buy a soda and a water. The Manager was taking care of a customer and walked away with as much a reconizing that I was already standing ther for few minutes waiting on him. It took another five minutes for someone to cahrge me.
Common Areas Dirty.

Our group enjoyed their stay. The resturarat was slow service and the food not that great. The rooms were comfortable for the price we paid. Close to Subway & airport. Staff was very helpful.

We had a great time attending a mets game. staff did not seem to be connected to the fact that guests are visiting to see a game and that the walk to the game is short enough- attention needs to be paid to the safety of guests walking in the evening and that neighborhood in general is risky. Also the pool was not open. Otherwise great potential for family gathering with pool, kareoke and the mets.Front desk personnel need to be friendlier for leisure guest? Parking good and the rooms were adequate for price. Fitness room good. Lounge had great atmosphere staff and view of citi field.

staff was amazing and very helpful. Restaurant downstairs serves great food. Definitely a must try

I would recommend this hotel for those who need to be close to the subway and public transportation. My trip was medical related and the hotel was very accomodating each time I stayed. I traveled from Virginia to NYC for surgery in June of 2011.

The staff is very welcoming and make me feel at home especially Rita and the front desk crew. I cannot say enough about Housekeeping and especially Merril who pays special and prompt attention to my needs like having a refridgerator delivered to my room when needed. I also love the shoeshine kits/sponges. I have recommended the hotel to friends and family across the country for thier stay when visiting NY.
