The Holiday Inn Airport is an old motel. My husband worked at the airport years ago and recommended the Holiday Inn Airport at that time.
Although the motel was old, it has been kept in good condition, either through repairs or renovation. i was pleasingly surprised to see how nice it was. The parking lot had many cars, which to me was an indication that it was a good motel in which to stay.
The room was very clean, the visiting room, in the lobby, was set up with comfortable chairs and couches so everyone could relax and visit. The dinner for our group was very good. Cheers to the chef. Overall, I would recommend staying at the Holiday Inn Airport.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hmv1976 Customer Service: Excellent, however...
First of all let me start of by saying that every single staff member was excellent. They were friendly and courteous even when we brought a few minor concerns to their attention.
The biggest issue we had was that this hotel was (and still is, I believe) undergoing major renovations during our stay. I understand that hotels must upkeep and renovate in order to stay up to date and appeal to more clientele, but we should have been notified that these major renovations were occurring.
Besides the noise, many of the construction materials were being dumped in to guest rooms on the first floor and the old furniture was piled up just outside our window. There were dozens of tables, chairs, and other furniture literally piled outside in the parking lot.
Again, I understand that renovations have to occur, I just feel that a notice should be given to your guests.
