Used the exercise facilities every morning. equipment was good. excellent bar which I used to entertain clients. Bar manager, Jenny, was very attentive. Restaurant food for dinner and breakfast was very good. Definitely would stay at this location again for future trips to the Corpus area. February 3, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Location for Business This hotel is my favorite go to hotel in the area. It is located close to the businesses I call on when in the area. I would guess that most of the people staying at the hotel are here on business. I have gotten to meet a lot of the hotel staff and they are extremely nice and welcoming. On this trip I got an upgraded room with all kinds of extra amenities. The desk in all of the rooms perfect for setting up my computer with convenient electrical outlets to plug it in and the WiFi internet never failed me. I also noticed that the hotel has started putting in LED energy efficient light bulbs instead of CFL's. So much better!! If you stay, be sure and visit the lobby Tuesday or Wednesday evenings for open bar and appetizers. The appetizers are really awesome. January 17, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff and super breakfast The hotel is a little dated but being upgrade. The staff is fantastic and went out of their way to assist me in receiving very critical documents. The General Manger spoke to me using my first name although it had been two months since my last visit. The lobby was beautiful decorated in celebration of Christmas. The entire staff were very personal and helped make my stay quite enjoyable. December 21, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Mouse Roommate It was clear the facility was old and needed updating and repairs. I could have tolerated that, but having a mouse roaming around and keeping me up all night was something I could have done without. I took a picture of the mouse trying to open a candy bar wrapper and shared it with person at the front desk the next morning. The person at the desk seemed very unconcerned. Later, because of the lack of concern, I decided to change hotels. Once at the new Holiday Inn I found I had a message to call the General Manager at the hotel I had just left. I did and he apologized. He didn't offer to credit the room charge or even replace the candy bar. His solution, since he had looked at my profile and realized I was a long time Platinum member, was to offer me reward points. However, the value of the points was only about the same value as the candy bar eaten by the mouse. December 20, 2015
