Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Coventry South BusinessStay I arrived very late. The check-in staff was friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept very well. The shower was good. The decor was scuffed in a few places as expected. Breakfast was good and tasty and the breakfast options good. March 30, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Passing gall stones is more pleasant Quite simply book somewhere else. The rooms are spacious but dark and gloomy The restaurant food is shocking (unless you like dairy lea processed cheese slices) and the bar is astonomically overpriced if you like wine or soft drinks. There are no real leisure facilities, barring the gym cupboard which affords only three people at a time the luxury of sweating over each other in claustrophobic conditions. There is nowhere to walk to from the hotel, you are a captive audience and this will be taken advantage of. March 30, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very generous Exec Room The Exec Room at this hotel is very large and ideal if you have work to do during your stay. The in-room wi-fi is a good spped too and you are presented with a hamper on your bed on arrival. Excellent food and great staff attitude to boot. March 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rooms were very clean Both the bedroom and the bathroom were very clean the toiletries were very nice. To be honest we weren't expecting anything great just somewhere to put our head down for the night but we were pleseantly surprised with our room. We stayed in a family room there were two double beds so plenty of room. The toiletries were very nice too. March 18, 2015

We even met up with a previous member of staff who remembered us. All in all a great hotel and so conveniently situated. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not a typical Holiday Inn This was a most disappointing stay, not because of the room quality (which was good, and a larger room than average), but because of the general support and staff levels. I had the impression the hotel was being run on a shoestring, and the staff were rather stressed out, especially at breakfast, which was of disappointing quality, and served by very few staff. I did ask if this was some sort of franchise, because the whole feeling of the hotel was different from the normal smart, on-the-ball, and supportive staff attitude I usually encounter at a Holiday Inn. It did not help that there are atrocious roadworks at the roundabout outside the hotel, which did seem to be of a long-term nature. We arrived during the evening rush-hour and queued on the A45 for nearly half an hour to get into the hotel. Not the fault of the hotel, but it did not help when I had then to fight for Platimun recognition, which, for the last few stays at other HI's has been automatic and most welcome! February 27, 2015
