Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good choice and value - staff made difference I stayed for business 2 nights 5/26-5/27/2015, with my family joining. Reggie from the staff saw our family out at the pool the first evening, walked up and gave us Popsicles. A great treat after a long day. I have stayed 50+ nights in hotels for the last two years. Never had a great welcome like that. - thank you- it made a difference in a long day, and our stay. Hotel is older, but cleaner than most Holiday Inn locations of this date and remodel cycle. For the price it was a great choice - near plenty of other choices for food within walking distance. Will return to this hotel when in the area. May 30, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Location Location Location Great location if you are going to a Reds game or Bengals game or even visiting Newport. A trolley will pick up in front of the hotel and it's only $1 per ride. Good bar for after hours. Staff even let us bring our fast food into the bar and eat after the bar had closed. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good hotel for Covington area This was a good hotel for a 1 night business trip. Breakfast was good. Check in very quick. Beds were comfortable. The humidity in the room seemed very high and the carpet felt damp to walk on. May 21, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and staff Stayed 2 nights at this property. Found the front staff was great, Cassie was especially nice to recommend some places to eat in the area. She was very nice to talk with and portrayed excellent customer service. The property is dated however, I found the lobby and bar/eating area to be nice and the room to be standard. There was some cleaning issues in the bathroom, some hair on the tub and the toilet had some residue from previous ocupants. Since I arived late at night I just wanted to get to sleep. I tested the cleaning staff and didn't report the issue. The next day the toilet and tub were clean. Probably want to check who cleaned 227 prior to my arrival on 5/13. I won't post the pictures but, the manager can look me up if they are needed. The bed was average being a bit hard and the pillows had covers stating firm and sodt howvwer, they were all soft but, I saw that in other reviews and made it work. Overall the staff made up for the issues and I'm sure if I reported the issues I would have been moved or had service immediately. May 21, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Swimming Pool We had one damper on our holiday at this hotel and that was we were told that the swimming pool would be open for the dates that we would be staying and the pool was closed both days of our stay. This was a big disappointment as we were travelling with 4 children and the weather was extremely warm. It was hard to walk by the cool and inviting pool and not be able to use it. May 20, 2015
