Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great for one night stay before you fly The location is perfect if you are looking to stay here and then use Gatwick airport. We had an early morning flight and the checkout process at 4am was very smooth and quick and they had kindly arranged for a taxi to be waiting for us. Room was modern, clean, functional and great value for Money. The only let down was the bar service- the man was rude and walked off in the middle of taking our order telling someone else to take over as he was going to do something else. The lemonade he made me was half a glass- I had to ask to have the glass topped up twice before I paid for it. Food quality was also average- over cooked and very salty August 3, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Modern Holiday Inn I have stayed here a number of times since the Holiday Inn name was associated with the property . Next door to a leisure facility which one can use at reduced rates. Upgraded to executive room which was nice and offered free wireless internet at good speeds. The rooms were refurbished in 2012 so everything is quite new and modern. The rooms are also of a decent size. The car park has a barrier system and you have to pay for the privilege of parking here (£10). They offer breakfast+parking for £15 at check-in. The Holiday Inn Express 5 minutes away has free parking. July 28, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Regular visitor A well maintained and recently refurbished hotel let down by enthusiastic but very poorly trained restaurant / bar staff. The hotel is out of town so has a captive audience for food. Menu perhaps a bit too ambitious and is overpriced. Had too many poor experiences with food / service for it to be a blip. July 22, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good choice Stayed here whilst we attended the Goodwood Festival of Speed and we were not disappointed with our choice. Rooms were a very good size, beds were very comfortable and bathroom also a very good size with a great shower. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. My only negatives are that it is not the easiest hotel to find however we had a sat nav which helped and meant we didn't get lost. My other negative was the fact that we had to pay 10 pds per night to park our car , this is the first hotel I have stayed in which has charged for car parking although I am aware other hotels do this also. I don't know why though although I suspect it is just another way of keeping the room prices down. July 20, 2013

I didn't realise there was another Holiday Inn at/near(sort of# Gatwick and this was much nicer, since I went to the other by mistake. The staff were very helpful, and, once I had factored in the distance to the airport #about 10 mins by taxi), the journey was quite delightful. I can't comment on the food as I didn't use the service, and the able to relax was only minimal since we had a 7 hr turnaround July 17, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Old friend new owners We had stayed here previously and decided that we would give it another go as we had an early flight from Gatwick. The hotel although now part of Holiday inns was a smart and welcoming as before. The choice of food in the restaurant is still a little on the expensive side but the choice in the bar was plentiful and of good quality. I left my car there for the duration on a stay and park package and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. The hotel operates a transfer bus but for £2 more it was better to get a taxi as the bus calls at other hotels. By phoning the same taxi firm on return they did this at the same price. July 15, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sill As Good As First Time I Stayed I have been booking nights here for over a year now and ever stay is excellent. The rooms are excellent, comfortable, very clean and great condition. Its a 30 minute walk from Three Bridges Station to the hotel or £6 in the cab from the mini cabs from outside the station. There is a bus route 84 it runs 4 times a day with the last bus at 1815 from Three Bridges Station to Nuffield Park. Route 4 and 5 operate nearby to Kelso Drive then its a 10 minute walk. The reception and management staff are excellent, very helpful and very friendly. Staff in the restaurant are very helpful. But yet to eat there. Basically if every other hotel operator had staff as good as London Gatwick Worth then there be a lot less complaints. Ive had stayed at other operator hotels so I know what im talking about. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very comfortable and clean large double room with excellent service The large double room was very clean with large comfortable queen size beds and the room had excellent en suite facilities. The buffet breakfast was excellent , however the inclusive evening meal/dinner option was unfortunately not up to the same standard. There was also no single occupancy option for the evening meal which was unfortunate when one of our party was in that situation for the first night of his stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful but it would be useful if the hotel had more information, including brochures etc, directly to hand of local tourism amenities/facilities etc for guests who are not there solely on business or overnight stays for catching early flights from Gatwick Airport, which appears to be the mainstream clientel of the hotel. It was great to watch the TV coverage of the Lions v Australia final test win in the bar along with other guests . July 12, 2013

When it arrived it looked good but when we cut into the roast potatoes the outside was very hot and the inside was still frozen. We complained and our meal was taken away and put in the microwave and reheated. It came back the sauce was stuck to the plate and the potatoes were hot not impressed. July 4, 2013

Relaxing environment & peaceful surroundings in a rural setting. The only downside was the 40 minute shuttle bus time from Gatwick North to the hotel & the one per hour timetable. June 18, 2013

We use the hotel for the night before we travel on holiday and it just seems to add an extra day to the holiday experience. It's so easy to relax and unwind. All the staff are very attentive and professional. The room was, as has always been the case, very comfortable, inviting and clean. All in all, another very pleasant stay. June 15, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and good car parking for Gatwick We were taking two grandchildren to Menorca for a week from Gatwick on an early flight. All in room and car parking for 8 days was a reasonable price. Excellent food and restaurant service with food for children and for ourselves. beds very comfortable. Took hotel shuttle to airport as its timing was good for flight. Cost for two adults £18 and it took half an hour because of picking up from other hotels. Took taxi back and it cost £17 and it took 11 minutes. Do not bother with hotel shuttle. Reception will book a taxi for you. June 12, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Eat elsewhere Rooms ok. Clean and funtional. Ok for a pre flight stay. If you can, go off site to eat. We ordered bar food and it was poor. My jacket potatoe was terrible. It looked like it had been cooked two weeks ago and kept warm! How difficult is it to cook a jacket? My partner had a curry which was ok, basic. Staff had a confused and befuddled way about them. Location was ok, journey to gatwick took around a 5 to 10 min taxi ride. We to this hotel on a good deal, so felt it was ok for what we paid. June 8, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, comfortable, quiet hotel close to Gatwick Airport Very impressed with this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom were clean, spacious and comfortable. The food in the bar was excellent, and good value (at the 2 meals for a discounted price deal before 7 p.m. that was running at the time). Despite being next to the lift the room was well sound-insulated, and there was no more than gentle background noise. There was one comfortable chair and one straight-backed chair for desk use. It would have been nice to have two comfortable chairs as well as the desk chair. The car park was large and we had no trouble finding a place. The only negatives are the peripheral 'extras' that you have to pay for. Parking is extra cost per night (including the first night) and the internet access is only free for the first half hour. Having conserved 15 minutes to use early the following morning I couldn't log back on so that was wasted and I didn't have time to sort it out. This hotel is expensive and there are cheaper hotels where you get free overnight parking and free unlimited internet access, although admittedly not such a nice room and facilities. If they're going to have a two-tier internet access system they should make sure it works seamlessly. Provided that the price premium does not become too excessive, we would happily stay in this hotel again, as a large chain such as Holiday Inn can usually be relied on to give consistent performance, so we would know what to expect.
