Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to watch trains The main reason I stay here is the proximity to the railroad. If you like trains, ask for a room facing the trains (back) side on the fifth or sixth floor. Closer to the station end gives a better view because of the trees. Beyond that, the hotel is everything you would expect from your basic Holiday Day Inn. Clean and professional. There is only one business center computer and it is slow, but hotel has free wi-fi. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by New baby Great Staff My husband and I recently became grandparents a month early. Our graddaughter Haley was born Monday 12/10 and weighs only 3lbs. With living two hours away , my husband and I raced to cumberland with no thoughts of where we would stay . Lucky for us at midnight after shoping for clothes at walmart , we found the Holiday inn. :) We explained our situation at the front desk and they were more them accomodating .Even when we left in the morning to return to the hospital we were told that they would hold the same room for us in case we needed it again that night. We called about noon that same day and they checked us back into the same room . Everytime we would return to the hotel they would ask about the baby and check to see if we needed anything . Haley is doing so well that we were able to come home to annapolis to get our other children and great grandmom , we will be checking back into the holiday in this weekend. So thank you for making us feel at home during such a stressful time. December 13, 2012
