Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Staff, Beautiful Remodel--when it's done The overall stay and impression of the hotel was very nice. The staff is very courteous, professional, and helpful. The remodel in the lobby area is beautiful. The remodel is the rooms is modern and very nice. I was impressed. However, when we stayed (late Sept 2015), they were still in the process of remodel. The remodelers are not remotely considerate of keeping the public areas clean (in the 3rd floor hallway-tracks and smudges all over the place. No protection of carpet or surrounding area). The housekeeping is in "regular" housekeeping mode, rather than cleaning up after the construction crew. Outside the room was the worst, but inside the room housekeeping missed a number of cleaning details because they weren't "standard" cleaning details (construction smudges not wiped clean in a number of areas). Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by LA Visitor 2015 I spent 2 nights in the hotel and I didn't sleep well because of the air conditioning. It was very loud and there was no fan to be able to use in stead of using only the air conditioner. The entrance doors from the hallway need to be sound proof. At 7:00 AM Sunday morning I was awakened by the voices of children playing in the hallway and a barking dog. NOT GOOD! Then we go down for brunch and were told that they ran out of bacon! OMG, what else is going to happen?! Thank goodness the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. September 23, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Late Night Renovation project We were greeted at 2am by a very pleasant night manager. Being the last room in the area of any quality, we chose to stay. As soon as we pulled around the hotel to find parking, we knew we were in for a long night. The hotel was under full renovation. We were greeted by dirty hotel hallways, and a room that seemed to be missing some furniture. The bed was quite noisy. The living area had a thermostat on the wall. The bedroom thermostat was on the window unit. I would recommend the hotel consider giving breakfast vouchers during the renovation, and perhaps even discount room $10 or so when a guest is coming in as late we did. There is nothing more expensive to the hotel industry than an empty room. All that said, we anticipate coming back in late October, and we will reserve ahead of time. September 21, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Under construction The hotel service was great but we were totally unaware that the hotel was under full remodel. It was noisy and boxes lined the halls. There were a lot of construction workers walking around. We would have like to been informed of this before our stay. We needed a stress free zone and it was anything but until the construction people left for the day. September 11, 2015
