Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Our new get away I travel a LOT and have stayed in IHG properties from Houston to Calgary. This is one of the top 5 I have stayed in. We live fairly close to this property, but the indoor pool is excellent for our boys. We use priority club points for weekends away at this location. We have been to many, but this has become our favorite. Rooms are always clean. The staff is great. The TVs always work... oddly, this is an issue at some places. There is always good water pressure. There is always hot water. The climate controls work great. The beds are comfortable. Linens are clean. This last visit, I wasn't thrilled with the restaurant, but it has been good in the past. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Bed, Wonderful Hot Tub, TV... not so much I arrived late, and the staff that was there was very helpful, and pleasant. The Room was the same, unfortunately, the CABLE had horrible static. It was Wednesday, and so I was expecting to catch my Workaholics Show, I was able to "see" most of it, but could not hear and understand some of it. That was the only bummer about my stay. I was able to sneek into the hottub afterhours and relax. The pool and hot tub were the winning factors when I booked my stay, and I'm glad I was able to enjoy them both. February 6, 2013

Brittany just knows how to make a customer feel welcomed upon arrival. I would have to nominate her for employee of the year just by her vast knowledge of the job that she does oh so very well without even missing a beat. January 3, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Restaurant at Breakfast poorly handled. Restaurant opens at 6:30. I walked in at 6:32, and was immediately greeted and taken care of. By 6:35, I had the water, orange juice, and had ordered. All personnel seemed polite, courteous, and capable. I got up and walked out at 6:55 AM. (20 minutes after ordering)No breakfast, no interaction with the staff, nothing. But, thanks for the orange juice. If I remember correctly, ordered the Eggs Benedict. December 17, 2012

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel... but there's always something. I stayed here for 2 nights in October and if I needed to stay a third I would have went to the HI Express just a bit north. I was greeted and upgraded to a Jacuzzi room as a Platinum Member. The lobby was nice and inviting. The room was clean, well designed, comfortable, good water pressure, good internet speed. So I have zero issues with the room at all. The problem I encountered was the hotels were working off and on for the 48+ hours I was at the hotel. I fully understand that mechanical problems exists, in fact I actually enjoyed my march up to the 4th floor each day. Where the problem lies is..... the staff was unresponsive to put signs on each floor telling guests that the elevators were out. So multiple times I would stand on the 4th floor waiting on an elevator that would never come because it was out, but being on the 4th floor or any other floor than the lobby level I had no way of knowing. As a business traveler, it was frustrating. So in summary the hotel is nice and so are the rooms. And if in Denton again, I will certainly give it another try. But on this particular stay if I was staying just 1 more day I would have checked out and went to the HI Express just 2 miles north (also a very nice property). December 1, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good night rest Was what we needed for the evening. We really wanted an Express so I need to remember when booking to make sure of the selection. If not Express, then you have full breakfast you have to pay for. We like the convenience and choice of continental. I really enjoy the hot cinnamon rolls with icing. My wife did not like the smaller pillows. Granted you get two choices (firm and soft) but they are smaller than we are use to. I enjoy staying at the Holiday Inn Express's and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. Oh, and being able to get to this location is not 'intuitively obvious'. Located in a college town amongst student apartments. Have to meander around. Sits far enough off the Interstate where it is difficult to get to. November 26, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rooms I'm sad to say that the first room reeked of cigarets, the coffee pot didn't work, the dust on the top of the headboards was visible it was so thick, trash in the halls even on the next day, the printer in the business center was out of ink with no replacement cartridge, and the food was just awful. I would say the staff was the one saving grace. Mostly Courtney at the front desk. November 7, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rough nights and hard pillows Guests should night have to wake up in the middle of the night by other guests partying till 2:00am in the morning, coming up to their rooms drunk and loud and screaming/yelling outside in the courtyard where the inner rooms can hear there very comments. Staff could stand to be a little more enthuse about the customers arrival and not treat it as a bothersome routine, disinterested about serving polite guests who are in awe of the beautiful building. Did not appreciate one of the staff members in particular, she was rude to the customer(female) in front of me and did not thank her for staying there when she handed the receipt to her and as well to myself. Thats all I have to say about that. :( November 5, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Staff but Property Needs work My family stayed in the extended king suite for a week while in town for a wedding. The staff was very accomidating with our needs and helpful. The rooms needs work and cleaning. Upon check in we had one large pot, one tumbler glass and odds and ends for silverware and plates / saucers. Upon request the issues were solved but we did have to make the request. We had ask to have the pool and hot tub cleaned. Exterior doors did not lock / secure properly. We were to have a complimentary breakfast and when asked at check in were told no and did not find out until the last 3 days. The little things add up for me. November 3, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Customer Service Above and Beyond the Call of Duty I stayed here as part of a wedding block this past weekend. Like most hotels, the rooms were clean and comfortable. However, the staff made this hotel exceptional. We had a large party and were allowed to hang out in the restaurant area (the bar had closed) until the wee hours of the night. The staff member on duty catered to our every need, including providing us dessert, serving-ware for the leftover wedding cake and late night munchies. He was so attentive and accommodating. He even helped us clean up afterwards. We ended up leaving around 4:00am and he was there the next morning working the breakfast bright and early. Truly phenomenal service. October 26, 2012
